about 25% of the 360 library is compatible with xbone. if your game is compatible, you just put your disc in the console and it starts downloading (or you can just download it if you already bought it digitally back on 360). this works the same with OG xbox BC, but there is only a very, very limited amount of those games BC.

I'm almost positive that theirs a remastered Strangers Wrath on xbone, and I'm 100 percent that psychonauts is backwards compatible

The issue is that the game cannot run without the client, but the client is no-longer supported. Steam is still perfectly happy to sell it you though- even if it doesn't actually function.

Most games see a bump in performance, others are just 1:1. for instance, current Halo Reach runs far fucking better than it did on the 360. Same as the Gears games.

Tom Clancy's Advanced Warfigther's the biggest notable exception for performance. It was 30FPS unless you were looking up the sky zoomed in on 360 and is 60FPS alot of the time on the X. Early back compat had issues like with Mass Effect, Banjo Kazooie, and Halo Reach, but there aren't any games like those where performance is worse than 360 hardware anymore

LP2 is one of the best co-op games out there.

It's GFWL. if you're doing a fresh install, you have to set everything up manually and it's an annoying process. The GFWL set up files that come with the Steam install don't work.

Again, it works. The service is no longer supported in terms of maintenance, but online connectivity still functions.
