It was fucking years ago during the Steam christmas coal event. You could get free games by trading in coal or whatever so everyone was trading games like crazy.
I would browse Yea Forums trading threads and now that I'm actually typing it out, I forget how I did it, but I think it was something to the effect of, them trading me a game and me deleting and blocking them. Maybe I promised them I'd buy a game later for them or something?
Either way, I collected pages upon pages of games in my Steam inventory and eventually one user probably got pissed off enough to report me. The funny thing is, even though both my main and alt account got trade-banned you can still gift games from your inventory to other accounts, so my current account has tons of unused games. Feels kind of bad man. I've considered giving them away here but then I remember what a normie reddit fest this place has turned into.
