They already confirmed they're focusing on competitive pvp and raid-like dungeons. there will literally be no grind and no typical mmo shit. in fact i wouldn't even call this a mmo or a instance base mmo game because it lacks enough content to be called either.

They plan to do:
- 2v2, 3v3, and 5v5 PvP
- more weapons because there are no classes.
- Hinted at Elsword weapons making an appearance
- Some small and short story stuff
- Raid dungeons

That's it so far.

KoG has always had a boner for pvp shit, but it never works out for them because it doesn't keep people playing and paying, in time they'll probably turn it into a massive pve grindfest like they did to their other games.

So far really liking the fights. I don't like the music especially in the lobby but the attack sounds are great. What's up with the camera system? It shifts around as you're running which is uncomfortable and running feels really weird itself as you just slide around instead of firm step to step running. Other than that it's pretty fun if not a bit too simple but maybe that changes later on

jerky movement, absolutely garbage netcode, you get to do each boss once before the difficulty ramps up exponentially. (you can do most content up through hard, but grandchase difficulty is too much hp, period)

There's 4 classes in the beta. witch (staff you saw), gauntlets, bigsword, bow.
you get the 3 you didn't pick by completing the missions to unlock chasers, and then get new karma gems to get new skills by 100% pure chance randomly completing MORE missions to maybe talk to a chaser (randomly decided which, of course).

you have to randomly talk to randomly selected chasers after completing missions, and if the randomly selected chaser randomly appears after your mission, you may randomly get a prompt to talk to the glasses chick next to mission select in town. If you talk to her, she may or may not give you affinity keywords which raise your affinity and get you items.

The first Deathmatch I played made me think this game was going to be pretty alright, but every match after that has been a disaster due to being paired with absolute mongs or people who quit midway through. You pretty much need a dedicated partner for PvP.

Slayer is pretty fun though. I had my partner disconnect within like 15 seconds of the start so it was 2v1 and the final score was 2-3 with me just barely missing tying it up.

Just play pve

The pvp feels a lot more fun if you can actually get a decent match going though. I got an extra beta key and I'll see if I can convince one of my friends to play.

There are three servers: NA, EU and Asia. By default, you'll be on the NA server. Dunno if they fix'd it already, but yesterday if we wanted to play on another server, we had to edit a config file.

You have to unlock the sub karma slots by spending CP on the same place you upgrade your gear.

I haven't rebirthed yet, I was just messing around with the creator to work out the poses and noticed it when i saw some personalities had eyes or hairs i hadn't seen before.
I'll try the rebirth option now and hope it just bundles all the customization options into one character but I doubt it will honestly, I can't tell if this is so they can sell character packs that feature archetypes like "villain" or "insane" or if they just really thought it'd be a cool thing to do.

Bosses are either just piss easy or piss easy except for one or two annoying as fuck attacks. Movement still feels like ass, and they were supposed to fix it since Alpha. We don't know yet. Cosmetic options will definitely be available to buy but there's been no word on pay2win / pay2fast cash shop items. I hope there aren't any because that will kill the game but this company doesn't have a great track record

Gauntlets seem to be just better than Sword until they drain your entire stamina. They feel kinda shit to trade with since range is similar with all those gap closing attacks and they ignore your first sword light and then just get you into combo. Staff on the other hand seems to just be stronger than Bow, cause I keep getting half my HP destroyed by stray projectile.

Also just now realized you can mid air weapon switch for easy long combo strings except for the part where you start running out of stamina. Outside of stamina problem Gauntlets can infinite I think.

I also agree that locking right off the bat character creation features is kinda dick-ish.
But as long as they don't put game changing/character boosting items in the shop, then it's fair game.
Cosmetics, exp boosts, additional small fun things, all fine. Cosmetics with stats, ingame currency gains, boxes that has weapons and armor, Gachas in general, not OK.

Except if you idiots played any of KoG games,you'd know that their cosmetics usually come with stats
