Discuss King Piccolo's philosophy.
Why did he want total anarchy? If he was just selfishly evil like Frieza, he would just create an empire and enslave everyone right? But it seems like he wanted there to be total chaos and survival of the fittest, might makes right stuff. He seems to have ideological motivations, like wanting everyone to become evil.

King Piccolo is the best DBZ villain because his philosophy resembled that of arguably the best villain in recent cinema, ie The Dark Knight's Joker (played by Heath Ledger). Anarchy is the closest thing humanity will ever experience that resembles total chaos. And chaos is fair, equal, without prejudice. During anarchy times, only the strong, the smart, the brave prevail. The weak, the stupid and the cowards will never thrive in such scenario. By enstablishing world anarchy he wanted to see the best, only the best, survive. Compare this deep philosphical goal with those of KEKza, inCell or Buu.
What did they want? Destroy this, destroy that, blah blah blah. ZERO in depth motivations, just greed and evil.
Henceforth King Piccolo is the last good villain in Dragon Ball Z. Because his motives more often than not went over most reader's head.
