I have been accused of providing improper first aid to an injured fellow camper as child, after he broke his foot, but I literally had nothing to do with the whole incident ( I was mistaken for someone else) and righteously and successfully argued my case

In first grade, a kid tried to rub poison ivy on my leg so I kicked out of fear and hit him. The teacher only saw the end part where I kicked the kid and assumed I kicked him for no reason. Forced to apologize, lectured about how this kid I kicked is pure at heart and she attacked my character, and served detention for a week.
Years later, the same kid is telling the story to other people and I intervene bringing up the poison ivy, but he denies it. He also said "I only remember people by the bad things they do to me" and makes me into a joke. Kid was and probably still is a self important prick who believes he is the only one who can do no wrong.
Sorry, but Jose and Jean are the only survivors of the Croce family.
Also very gloomy callback, the scene at first was uncomfortable, but now it's pure hatred.
