It really makes no sense to give them a secretive/silhouetted reappearance in a cover story just a few entries after they've already fully appeared, so yeah, I think it's a red herring. That said, somethings are still confusing; if they're fully disguised, the silhouetted reappearance is still pretty pointless, and I have no idea how they know enough about the exact situation at the exact moment to realize Reiju and Ichiji would be the perfect disguises right now, assuming the goal of the disguises is to mislead about their motives for being there.

Alright honestly I like Kaido a lot and I’m really looking forward to his flashback. Seems to have a lot of complexity under the surface
I also like Big Mom but less than Kaido honestly. I like her backstory a lot and I think it’s even a bit underrated, I think she’s interesting partly because I think she just wants someone to love her unconditionally and not leave. But she just doesn’t have that oomph that Kaido brings,,I guess I view her as a character who could have been a straw hat-esque character if she hadn’t run into the wrong sorts of people but she just doesn’t offer much more than that for me. I did think that her fight with Law and Kid was cool though

The last battle with marines is gonna have Zoro, Sanji, and Sabbo vs Kizaru, Greenbull, and Akinu while Luffy climbs the red line to rescue Vivi and kick Imu’s ass. He’s not even gonna fight Akainu for very long before handing him off to Sabbo.
