Epilogue
Well, it has been a ride, but here ends this daily.
I will never forgive the japanese for taking raw gold like this from us
What a twist.
Nichebros...
A FUTURE WHERE ITSUKI DIES BEFORE HER STORY IS DONE? I DON'T WANT THAT!
>Itsuki

The End
This feels so unpleasant
some guy basically having an elaborate fantasy of looking back on a cute career the real world mangaka will never have
Artist and writer profiles.
And with that ends the TPGW daily threads. Whether you're reading the manga for the first time or followed this from the start, I hope you enjoyed the ride even if the manga wasn't all that great apart from the art. Perhaps now you may have an idea of why it got axed in only 14 chapters.
Starting tomorrow I'll be doing a brand new daily thread, and it may be one that will be very interesting to axebait fans: tomorrow is the start of the Daily U19 Chapter threads, so stick around for that if you're interested.
Thank you for following Time Paradox Ghostwriter. Until next time.
Don't they get a notice 3 weeks before axes? Plus 3 chapters to get greenlit, he got axed after a single chapter? Fucking hell, how does he still get a chance after all that.
>Got his big break in TPGW
I can't man
Poor guy
I was reading the scans for some literally who female basketball manga and in the afterword for the latest chapter, the translator laments how it got axed and that he didn't think he'd be hurt by an axe again after Time Paradox Ghostwriter. It made me laugh really hard.
I had never read this epilogue chapter, interesting.
This page cracks me up. For one thing the blocks are positioned really weird so it's not instantly easy to know the direction of reading. I go right to left but not top to bottom?
Another is that it's presenting these other manga that are just too odd and weird for it's audience, fucking JUMP, to catch on and it comes off as bad cope for why this series was cancelled. They let Medaka's Box run for all the weird meta shit it did and even SOUL CATCHER(s) managed to stumble into another magazine. He might as well have called the readers mouth breathers.
There was absolutely no indication of chapter 50 being the last chapter until it came out?
Not from what I can tell. I looked at the raws on the website the series was being published on some time ago to check how far behind the scans were, and chapter 49 didn't seem to announce it was about to end. It doesn't really end anyway, it's basically the end of a regular chapter with a "thank you for following the series, but really thank you for nothing, assholes" blurb at the end. I assume with it being published online, there was no need for the same prior notice series published in magazines get.
>Semonest demonest shows up in the final bonus chapter
Fucking shame
The entire manga is him insisting making a manga for everyone is a good thing, when it is in fact not a good thing. Only a few people can actually pull that off with success and the price of doing so is a not that good product
That sounds like a really sudden axe
This must be some artistic performance where an author makes a weird experimental manga and "proves" it doesn't work
No, it wants to retcon here at the end that it is better to make more niche and creative things, but nothing before builds up to it. He doesn't solve the issue by using his experinces for a really specific manga, he just stops time to read literally everything.
Hypothetically
He could have decided to take a hiatus or gotten in a pr crisis and jump decided that it would not be worth it to postpone the series and axed it
Thanks for the dump like always OP.
I still maintain that the story should've been that the dude saves the girl from her fate, time skip, then the roles are reversed with the girl trying to save the dude from failure.
Then they kiss.
No the idea that you should make art from your own experience and desires is one of the few things the manga is somewhat consistent about. White Knight is supposed to be so good because it draws on Itsuki's experiences and talent (even as she says she's just writing what everybody would like) and it always falls a bit when Sasaki has to write it himself and just relies on popular tropes. The bigger issue here is it swings so fucking far on the pendulum in the last issue, where he's trying to reinvent art itself, that of course it doesn't work and keeps failing. The character has no real character to pull from to make his deep personal manga, so instead he just tries to be "the most unique" with nothing about what that could actually mean.
Why even fucking have this sequence if it's immediately solved
Christ that's the whole manga in a nutshell
Oh, that got axed? That sucks, I was somewhat enjoying it.
The premise of this series has such promise, but man the execution is so flawed.
Yeah. They just get through the training match with the other two teams.
