The prologue for the main story ends with Chizuru accepting her feelings when Kazuya decides to distance himself and settle down with other girl, basically making Chizuru's worst fears that were exposed by Mami true, especially that one about Kazuya having a girl waiting for him.
Main story is Chizuru realizing her life became dull, she keeps struggling with landing roles and gets more absorbed with her job, basically missing the times Kazuya rented her. Kazuya going back to his life previous to the breakup with Mami, having a quiet life but feeling empty and having his current relationship cracking down. He somewhat ends up renting Chizuru again, at first for advices to not let his current relationship fall apart, but then he does it for the thrill and because his current affair is slowly going beyond salvation, and Chizuru basically becomes more trigger happy and willing to break ToS, giving zero fucks about her job when Kazuya rents her... with those things reaching Kazuya's current gf ears.
Kazuya's portion of the story (prologue) is what ends. Main story is about Chizuru's part.
