That was me and I was wrong. I thought the magazine previews would show events a month early like HG's did but that isn't the case here. The weapon was actually released when episode 9 was supposed to air so nothing has been cut. (Although the weapon doesn't show up in ep 9.)

SOMETHING is either going to be cut or rushed along the way. It'll probably just be a few of the many villain-of-the-week filler episodes, so nothing plot breaking, but it's a bit misleading to say that NOTHING will be cut.
