>Brazilians are the largest non-Asian minority in Japan >Brazil houses the most Japanese outside of Japan proper Yet despite this, the only time I can remember a (non-monke) Brazilian showing up in anime/manga is Teppu. Odd considering Americans, British, Germans, French, Russians and even Finns seem to show up a lot more often.
This isn't "muh representation" whining, just something I find rather odd.
The last time I was in Japan, the latest immigration storm was Nigerians. Before that was the wave of Filipinos escaping their 3rd world country. >Yet despite this, the only time I can remember a (non-monke) Brazilian showing up in anime/manga is Teppu. watch more anime. i can think of at least three off the top of my head without trying.

There's this guy from detective Conan. His father was japanese who moved to Brazil and maried a women there. He can't speak japanese. His father died but a friend of his father went together with him to Japan when his family had a discussion a out the family inheritance. The friend of his father pretended to his father and he claimed that Carlos was his bodyguard.
As a brazillian I have never seen japanese culture(non-chingchong) in any mainstream media here but almost everyone have a friend with nip traits. Some of them can trace back they family tree and find grampas, grand grampas etc in japan and others don't even know where the traits come from. The cultural differences are too much, we are literally on opposite sides of the planet there are no direct flights and it's a minimum of 23hrs by plane.
My point is, we got mixed with their imigrants while they didn't. Giving birth to a non-japanese child used to be shameful in japan.
At least is way easier to study in japan for free and find a cute nip gf

>The Brazilians are taking Japanese women back to Japan and making them give birth to Brazilian babies >Bringing Brazilian women to Japan and making them birth Japanese babies is shamefur dispray It wasn't supposed to happen like this. How do we encourage hikki's to reel in BBB (Big Brazilian Bunda)? We need to put KyoAni on this.
Brazil having a lot of Japanese immigrants has been meaningless outside of prejudices for a long time. All the related history and culture has been forgotten. The last newspaper published in Japanese even went bankrupt a few months ago.

Believe it or not Brazilians are white, especially rich ones
What do you think most of us look like in monkeyland?

>As a brazillian I have never seen japanese culture(non-chingchong) in any mainstream media here MaurĂcio de Souza is the only Brazilian creator who celebrates Japanese Immigration Day every year, if only to reminisce about how he used to hang out with Osamu Tezuka.
Because only fucking fags care if a character in a cartoon is from Malaysia, Finnland or whatthefuck-city. This is the lamest take you could make from a piece of media and this is why muh representation is cringe. They literally care about the percentage of Finnland or some other meme country being represented.
Xavier Mitchell
Well you have this and everything else people mentioned. I just want one Nicaraguan in anime or any media outside of Nicaragua
Most nips are low t momma's boys that only care for breats, and have no eyes for bunda.

The reason that Brazilians don't show up in manga is that we don't stand out in Japanese society. You wrote >Brazilians are the largest non-Asian minority in Japan but the thing is that the great majority of Brazilians who live in Japan are descendants of Japanese who migrated to Brazil during wartime. I can instantly tell a BR from the rest due to mannerisms and clothes, but the rest of the world would just see another Asian person.
There are a lot of Brazilians in the old Anime. They look like Italians.

Brazil is somehow the most efficient country at assimilating immigrants, I studied with both Lebanese and Brazilian-Lebanese girls at my uni, the difference was very clear in the way they acted despite having similar traits
