to be far the sequel takes place a generation later so the characters have defiantly would have changed, still trying to figure out who's kids are who's. though i am trying to figure out who the villain is or going to be. all i could figure out about the sequel series is that the Earth government has now taking direct control of the planet and the other colonies and are at war with an intergalactic alien empire (that we have yet to see anything of, all we know is that they apparently have weapons more powerful than anything we have seen so far).
