Clearly not true. Otherwise people wouldn't have been complaining all throughout the last 50 episodes of them getting shit on. However this is always the basis of yugioh, a bunch of characters dying. So logically the 4 part dimensional monster is something that could have only been well received with distinct villains from the protagonist.
