6.5/10, it's bad but bonus point for trying to tie the ending I guess. It would get better if Prez mom shows up and ruins the plan because she has stake in Ono becoming the head of family or something (it's hinted that prez's sister met Kaguya before coming back to live with her father)

I've been following the threads since the beginning, and I think the most amount of shitposters (besides the meme'd to death Kaguya's sex that infested the whole board) was when Osaragi's feelings for Ishigami was revealed. It even made our Pooh leaker go away because retards attacked him too for some reason.

By chapter 214 - new school year, Mikado's introduction, followed by a Shirogane and Miko chapter, and the introduction of the cat looked like the series was still on a good rhythm, with lots of possible shenanigans and new interactions. Then the sex arc was long, the Osaragi arc was long and the Shinomiya family drama came and prez is almost ready to leave the country. Aka's mistake, imo, was rushing this last year.

Implying at the end that Kaguya set this whole stupid drama arc up for Miyuki to play the hero was cute but it would have been better if they'd gone all the way with it. I wanted the narrator to explain that Kaguya broke up with her boyfriend, pushed herself into an arranged marriage, and manipulated all of her friends and relatives into playing out this whole farce out of a desperate need to make HIM confess to HER instead of the other way around. It would blow all of the insane mindgames earlier in the story out of the water and redeem the whole thing

Another issue is definitely the art. I am more and more confident that Aka started to use a posing software and is bad at hiding it. It's not that they are stiff, it's that sometimes the characters will stay in the same position for multiple pages changing just the position of the hands and the angle from which they are drawn.

Just look at Prez and Ishigami here guya.cubari.moe/read/manga/Kaguya-Wants-To-Be-Confessed-To/254/9/ and the next page, it's like frames of a stop motion movie.

I thought the point of Hayasaka's arc was Kaguya realizing that her testing antics are demented?

Divorce and working on two weekly manga at the same time. Also the MCs already confessed but he couldn't write teen dating because like most mangaka he never experienced it himself.

Confession is asking out. That's just an affirmation. Semantics, I know, but it can't be helped.

I'll bet you 5 dollars that Aka didn't plan that, he thought it was a good idea and decided to go with it in the last chapters after someone pointed out that Miko did the same.
There are way too many things out of her control and her acting like she doesn't know what's going on even when no one is around, for that to be a planned plot point.

Probably that's the real big problem with the arc, more than the poor writing in itself: how unfocused and unplanned it is. I am fairly confident Aka was just buying time with eg the money and the little kid.

Was it Kaguya's plan to know that her father really did love her and would give a clue to the whereabouts of the will that only she would know about based on an event that happened before her brain developed enough to form memories?
