Come on in and join the wonderful world of Ran Uruma, growing girl and magical wunderkind! Watch as she runs into, often times literally, a varied cast of humans, sorcerers, people in-between, and embodiments of ancient insatiable and all devouring evils. Buoyed by fantastic art, this is a fun exploration of a magical world and a great story about family, growing up, and relationships of all colors and shapes using a varied set of perspectives and a substantial cast of characters.
Credit to the translators and typesetters and editors. They did some good work on this series. And that ends Volume 2/7 I hope it was a good read for everyone. A lot of developments this volume I'd say. A few new characters, a few big plot developments, and some changes already present in some of the main cast. Fun stuff all around hopefully. I think this point is where the story more starts to hit its stride overall in what it wants to do. So look forwards to that.
Question - did any of you have a 'schoolyard romance' as a wee tyke?

Jose Ward
I don't know, I'm liking it. I'll tell you after I read the last chapter
William Turner
What was disappointing to you? Use spoiler tags if you post anything about the latter half, please.
Jose Hughes
does this manga exist in hardcover? I'd love to own it
Ryder Reyes
Unfortunately I couldn't find anything myself. Only paperback.

Is Tamao just jealous that teenage Ran has bigger boobs than her?
Nolan Torres
I wonder if black bean crackers taste good or not
James Carter
I wonder what battles caused Lord Zen to have so many scars? Those scars don't really look like they were caused by swords since it is rare for a swordsman to aim for someone's thighs. Those scars look more like a bear tried biting and clawing Lord Zen in the distant past.
Landon Campbell
Is Ran's bully now self-aware that he is an awful bully?
Jonathan Bennett
I am surprised the school lets kids actually chop vegetables with proper kitchen knives.
Kevin Flores
Ran could do so much better than Hibi the school bully...
Connor Jenkins
But the reason why nobody wants to make friends with Ran in school is because they are possibly afraid of Hibi and his gang of boys who might decide to include Ran's new friend as their next target of bullying...
If Hibi and his gang just left Ran alone in the beginning, I am confident someone would have eventually tried to befriend Ran.
Easton Brooks
Yesh She's a dirty lonely femcel tormenting that poor Ran.
Jordan Gray
To be fair, Hibi only started developing a guilty conscience after Ran sprained her ankle. The reason why Ran never wanted to listen to Hibi was because he truly was acting like a jerk to her at school and even outside of school like at the local town festival.
Ian Myers
Kids can learn to cook from pretty young. You wouldn't give them your sharpest Wustoff, but a fairly sharp knife is fine if you make sure they're not doing any fancy cutting.
Jackson Ward
I expected Tamao to appear at school to the rescue rather than Lady Shizuka.
Easton Peterson
If Ran was really desperate for help, wouldn't she just have to shout really loud for Jin to rescue her?
Christian Cooper
Thats just how you end up after a lifetime of sex with Shizuka. She doesn't hold back.
