Personally I love hype. There are very few shows that can generate hype to the extent that Chainsaw Man has, so why not enjoy it? You won't get such perfect hype machines very often, so why not participate in that excitement and enjoy the experience? If it sucks it sucks, who cares. But I honestly don't get this sentiment of "I hate all this hype because the fanbase goes to shit". THIS is the stuff that makes life fun, celebrating the excitement for something with your friends and family!
Go ham I say. Overhype the shit out of it. Enjoy that celebration, and if it delivers than fuck yeah. If it doesn't, there are a dozen other shows coming soon that you can switch your attention to instead so you're literally losing nothing.

We only get an anime franchise that can reach these levels of hype like once or twice a decade.
