I already watched everything old worth watching, and the pre-2000 anime that isn't "TOP 100 anime of all time" material is no better than seasonal anime so I see no reason to waste my time with it.

Revolutionary Girl Utena. It's pretty much perfect aside from the repetitive soundtrack and some of it's "cheesy" moments.

I like the soundtrack from a particular show and I listen to it almost every day for years. She's just a great singer to me.

Been trying to get through Tenshi ni Narumon for 2 fucking years now. It's good it's just there's like zero plot development or any motivating reason to watch the next episode. Might start Nurse Angel Ririka soon even though I've had the ending spoiled.

You haven't watched the Violinist of Hamelin.

>repetitive soundtrack
You probably mean the one that plays when she climbs the staircase cause every duel has a different theme.

>t. hipster

Still going through Kabocha Wine, going slow but steady. 2 episodes every 2 days. It's pretty good.

What did Yea Forums think of Angel Sanctuary?

there are other ones

i am taking baby drugs for allergies and i cant even get my head on straight enough to work through backlog

> All these flavors...

>Cashaan
I'm on episode 11. Braiking Boss is great and the individual stories so far are pretty good. My biggest issue is that they really don't clarify why Cash keeps wasting chances at finishing the whole thing.
>Project A-ko
Excellent visually. The plot is generally ok but C-ko was way too annoying.

Also recently finished Agent Aika and CT in akihabara, which I already mentioned in a previous one.

Last thread user made the bold claim that Persia and Minky Momo were better than Creamy Mami. What is the reasoning for this?

I have watched Yu Yu Hakusho at least 20 times.

My hope is someday California Crisis gets a remaster. The art is nice but having only VHS rips that have been transferred over 1,000 times hurts.

I just finished Bakuen Campus Guardress and it was pretty ok. It was fun but I wish it was fully goofy and didn't try to get serious. The first 2 of the 4 ova episodes were the better ones.

I also really liked this song from it.

I enjoy this headlight effect.

none of that garbage

holy shit user
I started watching that a few days ago.
what are the odds?
parts of it I hate so fucking much but others fascinate me
Nurse Angel Ririka is also high on my backlog because of the director/studio

Yohko was great.

Very true

>Spoken by a Contrarian hipster

>C-ko
She's annoying as fuck. Ako & bko are great tho.

I have no idea why I'm watching this. It's not good, but it's not the worst thing I've ever watched either. I guess it just feels like a silly enough show that you can watch to relax before going to sleep.

I still can't get over that C-ko is voiced by Sailor Mars.

Isn't it one of the first single cour TV anime? I could be wrong but it might even be the first.

I love ninjas and stuff so this was cool

Been watching all the seasonal anime. Stay away from Komi-san and Kawaii dake ja Nai Shikimori-san, both suck and are a waste of fucking time

I'm gonna watch the Birdie the Mighty OVA
I just don't have the motivation to watch anime anymore

first and second season of Initial D, I loved the eurobeat memes and wanted to see what was all about, it is great, awesome show, nice cars, nice characters and awesome races.

Just watched that a couple months ago, I thought was pretty good.

>Stay away from Komi-san
Yeah I figured from the first episode of that

It'll come back user, just give it time. I have no motivation for anything now except anime so I'm just using it up while I can.

Maybe? I honestly wouldn't be able to tell. I mean, it is a single cour but I don't know if it's one of the first ones.

Finished Generator Gawl. It's pretty great actually, I only wish it was longer.

Watched Gundam: War in the Pocket. It's really good. 6 episodes, just a nice in and out story. I enjoyed how the characters were just smaller pieces in a bigger war, truly a war in the pocket

This. 12 episodes wasn't enough but despite that short length it was great. If it had 24 episodes would be closer on the popularly scale of s-cry ed.

u mad

I've never watched an anime made after 2000. I only browse Yea Forums for the Evangelion threads.

>sequel series has been running since 2013 and is ongoing, with zero translations and almost no scans
what the fuck

I just finished Hime-chan no Ribbon. It was a lot of fun, I laughed a lot, teared up a few times too. Nice and comfy.

Attached: 42500700_p0.jpg (1412x1251, 686.92K)

Oh yeah? Explain that series to me right now

I'm not sure what you want me to explain, but the kids who pilot the Evangelions are being put through a sort of ecstatic process at the end of which they will be enlightened beings. The machine they pilot is aptly called an Eva (Latin for "Eve") because through it they are being born as a new kind of creature. The Angels are probably different emanations of the God who created the world of Neon Genesis Evangelion; the Angels share human beings' DNA because we were made in God's image. Each successive angel more resembles God and brings the kids closer to God himself. The human instrumentality project is an attempt to free humanity from material reality, through which human beings are individuated and are prevented from knowing themselves, to say nothing of God, but what Gendo Ikari and SEELE don't understand is that they're making a new kind of creature that has nothing to do with humanity as they know it.

Picked up. Time to go raw hunting.

That takes me back.
>I WANT OUT

I do too. I'll check this out.

I watched a few episodes of Evangelion, but it doesn't do anything for me. Definitely something I would have liked when I was a teenager.

Almost done with Patlabor, I'm really gonna miss the Griffon and Bud I'm really disappointing that his backstory is only in the manga version (the second half which still isnt translated yet)

New stream when?

I'm on ep3 right now.
Got the 0079 recap movies + Zeta + Char's Counterattack behind me.
Skipped ZZ and started Pocket.
This time, I'm not binging! One episode at a time.
