tropes you love
>morally good character goes ape shit
Tropes you love
t. the bad guy
All the girls in the anime/manga are gay
>girl who got sexually assaulted or raped stands up to the man who did it to her
>Character rants about how shit the United States is, thinly veiled call to revive Japanese empire
>culture festival
>people suggest maid cafe and/or haunted house
>"Can't we try something different this time???"
>comic relief character turns out to be a powerhouse
>comic relief character appears to be getting serious and about to go full power, but then they're on the floor knocked out
>Villain personally confronts the Heroes and puts them in their place.
>Villain doesn't gloat or waste time either, immediately goes for the kill every chance he has.
Bonus: Villain doesn't have any special powers like the Heroes is relying only on their personally acquired skill and reflexes.
Character inflicts injury on themselves to show how determined/crazy they are
>villan(s) is/are right about everything
>protag/hero loses
>villain is extremely competent
>MC best friend steps outside of the MC's shadow and takes down the villain or one of the villain's top executive by himself.
>MC Best Friend gets his own girl to be happy with that isn't all over MC cock.
>MC and Rival begin fist fighting in their final fight.
>The first opening song starts playing in the background of the final battle.
KINO.
Literally the only good thing about this shit manga.
First opening in the final fight is the best and all opinions contrary to it are wrong.
>Final battle has no background music, no magic, no talking.
nearly no super natural powers like the others and still manages to be the most intimidating villain.
made mustaches look cool too
tfw i'll always be a soft mustacheless grunt
When the aloof/jokester/goofball type of character is shown to be more intelligent and competent than everyone else assumed, even better if it comes off like second nature to them
>4-koma changes into normal paneling for important moments/chapters.
Joke character from the back is actually really strong and pretends to be stupid.
Hard mode: instead of strong, they're very cunning
Would like to add:
>good series ruined by bad/poorly chosen soundtrack
>moralfag gets btfo
>character accumulates severe trauma
>characters show up one by one after timeskip.
(note: this doesn't count shit timeskips where the characters are just 2 inches taller and have 1 new move after 7 years)
>bland/self-insert MALE-mc got killed early
>bland/self-insert MALE-mc got killed lastly
>bland/self-insert MALE-mc got cucked early
>bland/self-insert MALE-mc got cucked lastly
>bland/self-insert MALE-mc got fucked by some dude
>bland/self-insert MALE-mc got humiliated forever
>the villain steal all girls from bland/self-insert MALE-mc
user this thread is for anime tropes, not your favorite cuck hentai tropes.
Wrath was honestly one of the best villains of the new generation.
you forgot
>bland/self-insert MALE-mc gets humiliated and his ass raped in front of his harem and every girl loses interest in him afterwards
Black girl dies
>villain does evil shit because of love
Good trope
Awful

>>comic relief character turns out to be a powerhouse

You will start liking NTR unironically and it will ruin your life
>girl on the cover of volume 1 doesn't win
>You will start liking NTR unironically and it will ruin your life
it's fucking anime what difference does it make which genre I like or not
you're mentally ill retard who can't separate reality from fiction
You’re already lost
example of this?
>hyped as a badass character
>didnt jobbed
its always satisfying to see Levi on screen
Chapter 60 when?
>Coward sacrifices his life for what he believes in
>Main Character is the Villain of the story.
I love it.
ninibros...
All the areas that Bradley cut from the chests to shoulders are outright are fatal IRL and those characters should've been dead instead of being able to grab/stab him.
this is my favourite trope
it feels so satisfying to vicariously live through a characters suffering
bonus points if no one understands what happened to them, even better if the characters give deserved pity
It might seem like spineless faggotry, but deserved pity feels so good. Even if I despise it in real life
who asked you stupid mass reply faggot
>One of the best villains of all time
>Masculinity personified, got a good ending despite being "evil"
>a character women will NEVER understand
>written by a woman
Bros... how did she do it?
yeah, and homunculi don't exist IRL. turns out the show isn't very realistic.
>Self insert edgelord character ends uo being a cuck
how is that a trope
name a few shows that feature this
SnK
Fuckin based
>2 pieces of shit become best friends over their mutual love for being scumbags.
She just wrote her ideal husbando.
>strong
>sticks to his ideals
>dies defending his wife
>exterminates inferior races
Death Note
>Protagonist eventually becoming the villain from earlier, but either on a larger scale or arguably worse than what they where doing. Potentially also beating the heroes sent to deal with them.
and
>Villain was actually right, and it is only later after their defeat that it’s realized.
>Strongest character is actually a side character that is normally either comedic or parental, but it isn’t shown until randomly off the cuff.
>noblity/kings/princes drawn feminime and act somewhat gay
You had me until fucking him as well. Faggots.
Trope of the reluctant villain
Someone who was as bright eyed as the protagonist probably is, but somehow became jaded and believes his (evil) plan is the only way forward and that the protagonist simply doesn't understand yet.
I like it when the long string of sacrifices the hero has made in an otherwise uncaring or oblivious world is finally and completely understood by at least one other person. Happens a lot in time loops, but isn't restricted to them.
>villain realises that he's about to be killed, decides to go out on his own terms and die with a smile
>MC doesn't let him do that out of sheer spite
Love that shit
Absolutely based.
Love this too.
I like this and wished more manga would do so.
