Ayaka kinda feels like a minor character even though she's part of the main quartet. I suppose she doesn't have much to work around for an entire mini-arc on her own? Hibiki has her shapeshifting and gluttony, Akemi has her lust for musculature, Zina has pride for her country... what does Ayaka have?
Why is the author so obsessed with making her fat lately?

Ayaka's whole thing is that she is a talented boxer, so I suppose it's tougher to make arcs based around her because she is already the fittest of the main group. An arc focusing on her being a boxer and fighting is probably just not the thing the author wants for this particular series. She does start to get more attention in the arcs she appears later on though, which at least makes her presence stand out more.

I only started working out because of dumbbell, I've been going for over a year and lost 14 kilos. I slow watch it because every episode fills me with so much motivation, I only have the final episode left. I do it for Akane.
In that case I could see Ayaka's chapters being focused on injury. Have chapters that revolve around Ayaka trying out new martial arts if she's too good a boxer and getting injuries related to those martial arts. Take judo and make her fight Jurota. Now we can have a chapter that revolves around head and back injuries and judo's falling techniques. Have her do a team up chapter with Tadakatsu to explore the spinal injuries a BJJ practitioner can undergo. Have Ayaka learn Lethwei. More factoids about the human skeleton. There's some potential there.
