End of Order 25
Neat stuff with Anderson and also the setting of the current arc
Thanks for the dump
Gotta catch up. Have a bump
Kinda wish they would chant "Gott Strafe England" instead.
The german accent is thicker than any bavarian maid.
What does that mean
God punish england.
And after this arc we're going to get THAT scene. Looking forward to it. Thanks for the dump.
Well, what they're singing now is an actual song for cadence and morale, while "Gott strafe England" is just a slogan. And I doubt evoking the name of God is part of Millenium's thing apart from mockery like from the Major in the last chapter.
Can't wait
It's been a while since our last "Anderson Time" so I felt like I had a stroke reading his lines.
That was a more of a WWI motto, wasn't it?
I like how we get glimpses of the other bureaus, I wonder if their names hold any significance to their function like Iscariot's does.
The fucking Swiss!
Lovely page
>tfw no catboy pet
Fucking catboy
Gratze
Why does the pope specifically recruit the swiss for his personal guards anyway?
Greenland? So the HMS Eagle is in the Davis strait?
en.wikipedia.org
A group of Swiss Mercenaries held off a massive raging mob of German and Spanish soldiers long enough for the Pope to escape. Fighting basically to the last man.
Since then, its been tradition to select the Pope's guards from Switzerland.
The Swiss were mercenaries during the Renaissance, and the papacy was in a particularly earthly streak during that period, being behind quite a bit of the Italian Wars while leading armies, sword in hand.
> referred to as a werewolf
> based off of shrodingers cat
is there some shit later on that explains this or am i just stupid, because this makes no sense lol
>The major and his pet
Werewolf refers in Schrodinger's case to the Nazi organization. And as a general term of a section of Millennium.
Only the Captain is an actual Werewolf.
Werewolf in this manga is a bit of a loose term, in theory Rip and Zorin are from the "Wehrwolf" squad as well, but they just seem to have reality warping powers. None of them show neither vampire nor wolf traits, they are just random freaks. Captain is an actual wolf but he has some strange shapeshifting powers as well.
She will arrive on deck tomorrow. Thanks for dump.
I think it's implied that Rip and Zorin are vampires.
cool, thanks for explaining!
Rip stays under the sun and one of the vampires comments on that, saying "they are different from us", or at least that I remember from last time I read it. Still could be something similar to alucard, i.e. strong vampires don't fear the sun, but when did Rip actually act like a vampire? She just uses her magic rifle and then dies like a bitch.
Probably late to ask this. Was the Dandy Man a wizard/magician and not a vampire?
>homestuck
nice
Preemptive thanks OP
Vampire can stay under the sun in hellsing and I mean Dandy Man or Luke don't act particularly vampire-ish but they still are. Oh and I just remembered that millenium vamps burst into flame. I'm not sure if Rip did, but I definitely remember Zorin doing it.
So Dandy man is artificial vampire. I thought he was a wizard.
Thanks, OP.
I wish I could draw teeth
Nah he's a vamp. I seem to remember it being pretty obvious in some shots where he has really pointy teeth
iirc werewolf is more just a title, except for the captain who is an actual werewolf
thanks!
They can't afford to light the whole house?
Oor?
Why are ON and OFF different buttons?
Are the Hellsing Ultimate still on that old as fuck res or they can be found better now? Never saw beyond the third....
