Shoujo mangas use thin lines for the panels, they tend to draw the speech bubbles on top of panels, they use more uncommon shapes for panels and other techniques for a timelag effect
Shonen manga uses thick lines to transmit more power, square shapes are more common
There other things like hiki mekuri, etc
