What's the point of having Ryuki be the secondary protagonist in the first 50 chapters when he's now been cast aside both as a central character and in terms of power? He used to be someone who Koga had to reach towards in terms of power. One of Koga's early drives in the series was to at least reach where Ryuki was and be his equal.

Ryuki is only weaker because he's not fully Kiryu.
That aside, I think that Xia will lose and will strike deal - he'll give info in exchange for his life. Eventually he'll become redeemed and will fight for the good guys :) And he'll sacrifice himself for Kazzy at the end.

Best case scenario fight gets interrupted and this leads into a growing rivalry between the two

It just doesn't feel earned because we as readers didn't get to witness Koga's journey to where he is now. Sandwich didn't think it was important and glossed over two fucking years worth of development even though in the less than one year we spent with Koga from the start to chapter 50 he grew so much. Imagine just how much he was able to grow in TWO years. But because we didn't get to see it, it doesn't feel like he's earned it.
As I said in the previous thread and many other threads, it would be like removing the training montages in Rocky and instead skipping to his final fights in each movie.

This 'strong' character has been the punching bad for the past 100 chapters. Literally. From chapter 49 onwards Xia has always been abused or humiliated by almost every character he's interacted with including but not limited to early Koga, Raian, Lu Tian (flashback), Eddie and Joji. On top of that he comically bursts into tears every time and spent the last few years living as as homeless person scavenging to survive.
We've recently learned that this character has potential and first the first time in literal years he's had a positive showing.

Only for Koga to swoop in and set the status quo back to what it naturally was for the majority length of the manga thus far. Xia humiliated and beaten.

Why can't Sandro just write normal chapters and story arcs
