They all have decent production values, but Demon slayer is the most consistent. Bones only brings in Nakamura to animate occasionally for BnHA though and the webgencore animation mixed with the terrible compositing looks like shit despite being high effort in JJK

I don't think I've ever even had a main character from a shounen be a favourite character of mine. It's always the side characters that are the best. I guess I just find the kinds of characters that tend to be the main character to be boring.

He's the only shounen protag to actively drive the plot forward. Luffy happens to the world not the other way around which is why he's still so refreshing to read. The dude picks fights with pretty much everyone and sometimes wins.

While he is stagnant in the sense that he doesnt change his personality much, he's a godsend compared to most MCs today who just cry and moan all the time.
