No. They shower first before jumping in the bath.
I never got the appeal of baths. It feels good for thirty seconds, then you start to overheat and sweat and get itchy.
How do w*men take hour-long ones? If the water not very hot? That sounds like garbage.
>he doesnt turn on the bubbles
I thought getting dizzy in hot water baths was an anime meme until I tried it myself. I stayed in it for like 15 minutes until I started feeling lightheaded and the rinsed and dried myself. Feels amazing when you're done, like you're being wrapped in silk or pillows
>then you start to overheat and sweat and get itchy.
>get itchy
Did you clean yourself before getting in the bath? Or is your water that fucked up?
Got sick to my stomach in a hot bath once. Not pleasant
Don't eat like a pig next time then.
I rather stay under the shower for 1 hour
never taken a bath but I did shower once
bath is disgusting becausr you're close to the floor and the filth on your body stay in the bath.
hot shower is the best
>never taken a bath but I did shower once
>once
smelly user erotic
imagine the smell
Nips treat baths like a constantly cleaned hottub. They shower before getting in so they are already clean and then just soak in the hot water to relax. Like a home hot spring.
>overheat, sweat, get itchy
You ran the water way too hot. The itching was you getting broiled
user you're supposed to get in the bath after showering
Do people really take baths to clean themselves regularly? I tried it once and I felt as filthy coming out of the bad than I did going in
The west does baths wrong by doing filth soup. I just shower since I don't have a bath, just a stand up shower. However I do like to soak in a fresh hot tub but one that is full of chemicals and whatnot is a now for me.
The best thing about jap bathing autism is that if they skip the bath, because even they find preparing one to be a pain in the ass, they will simply allow themselves to stink for a day or two until they actually do bathe. The idea of simply hopping in the shower for 5 minutes as its own thing without a bath being involved is foreign to many of them.
>and get itchy
You have a type of heat allergy. Get it checked because when they're not caused by liver damage, they tend to be chronic (they get worse with time).
Americans will never understand this feel
I want to drink an anime girl's bathwater. They can skip the shower beforehand.
Hot tubs are fairly common and used in a similar way.
I don't really get the appeal of baths. Like yeah I think showering before bathing sounds good because I do think it'd be gross to just sit in dirty water, but at the same time I feel like it's too much of a waste of time to then take a bath after going through the whole process of showering, so there's just no time when I'd actually want to take one. Maybe I just take stupidly long showers, idk.
I also think the communal bathwater thing sounds gross. Like yeah I guess it'd be fine if you're the first one to get in, but I wouldn't feel clean after sitting in the rest of my family's used water. I'd have to then take a second shower after getting out of the bath.
>Hot tubs
Those are glorified hot swimming pools. Not even the same thing since people still wear their swimsuits and most don't even bother showering either.
A hot bath isn't necessarily about getting clean. I treat it like a sauna.
Jacuzzis are a better example.
...
>they will simply allow themselves to stink for a day or two until they actually do bathe
>a day or two
Y-yeah haha...
>shower for 5 minutes
Do people really do this?
showers should take 10 minutes max. and if you're truly dirty (sweat, dirt, mud, etc in thick layers) a 5 minute shower goes a long way, which is what that user was saying. But a jap would postpone that shower if he doesn't have time for a bath afterwarsd
>itchy
He might also have high chlorination levels in his water. Soaking in hot high-chlorine water could irritate his skin that way.
This. Thread over.
"hot" water shouldn't be more than about 50C, around 60C it starts to feel painful.
Most normies don't realize this and simply tough it out until it kills their heat receptors.
Pick your poison.
>Sitting in a warm pool of your own filth
Dirty, backward nipponese
Japan loves baths
Also, true, though some savages dont bathe before getting into a whirpool tub either.
>tfw I spend 30 mins to wash myself properly
>another 30 mins since my hair is a tangled mess and breaks easily
>30 extra mins to dry myself off in a very humid bathroom
I like showering, but damn it is it tiring. End up sleeping like a log most of the time.
i miss japanese baths
baths overseas are too shallow and arent hot enough
nothing feels as relaxing or warming than sitting in piping hot water up to your nose for an hour
Unrealistic nipshit.
Get cultured faggot

Japanese bathrooms are designed very differently than ours.
The whole room is designed to be used to wash yourself in, not just the shower and sink.
Japanese people wash themselves in the middle of the bathroom, then get into the bath to soak and relax. The bath does not provide any level of additional cleaning whatsoever.
>Do people really take baths to clean themselves regularly?
Only when they are kids. Which is why you usually see it fall out of fashion with many people, because they're not "kids" anymore and don't need baths.
Jesus Christ do you jerk off in the shower or what?
>how do women take hour-long ones
You want the truth? They fap in there. It's the perfect spot.
Lucius is so fortunate he was sent to Japan instead of a clearly inferior nation like whichever one OP is from. Baths are the source of real power.
>Jesus Christ do you jerk off in the shower or what?
Don't know if I should be scared or embarrassed by this.
How well do Japs was their asses because I see them shower real fast before jumping in the bath in anime but it doesn't look like there any effort in ass washing, wouldn't they just be soaking in the same water their and other stranger's dirty asses have been soaking in with all the remnant shit particles.
Bidets are thing that still exist in Japan, you know. Probably a lot cleaner than the average american.
>wouldn't they just be soaking in the same water their and other stranger's dirty asses have been soaking in with all the remnant shit particles.
If this is really a cause for concern, I doubt many people would be jumping in the pool or the ocean if ever.
>Why does anime not portray characters meticulously cleaning their assholes? Does this mean they don't do it at all?
Nigga what
tfw cant fit in the tub at 6'4" and legs and torso out of water entire time
Brazilianfag from the rome anime here. Only know i realized that in english you differentiate between a shower and a bath. Im ESL as fuck.
That's some cool hair.
I only shower and that's it.
I don't get why bidets haven't become a mainstream thing in 1st world countries.
It's more likely he just has dry skin and the hot water is drying it out more.
A typical Japanese bath looks like this
If you don't go in, there shouldn't be a bathtub.
Because they are often seen as unsightly with many westerns, and unnecessary to others when you could use dry toilet paper on your ass instead.
How do you take 30 mins to dry yourself off?
>humid bathroom
No fresh cold air gets in since there's no window. And I'll be damned before I open the door to hallway bath.
It's probably them drying out their skin.
If they have really hard water then it can get itchy.
