It was revised twice, the translator went rogue often leading to multiple revisions, lately they appear to have contained their retardation.
Theres a good chance the publisher is shy to print them incase they need yet another revision, that shit ain't free.

The statements I saw from both tls said they had no idea it had happened. Koestl does good work, so I trust him at least. So what I getting from the discussion and link is that the rarity of LN9 really isn't explained, correct? The issues with MT's tl were in earlier LNs b/c SevenSeas was trying to make it acceptable to a wider Western audience.
