>Maybe the manga story became bad because of the second season of the anime?
The manga could only be officially finished if the second season of the anime was allowed to remain popular when it was broadcast. The author had to move the story forward extremely slowly, adding a lot of meaningless inner descriptions. Portraying Kinoshita Kazuyai as a dog with low self-esteem, obsessed with the girl he can't get.
Well duh, the Paradise arc was only so long, so to stretch it long enough to reach the second season. Unsurprisingly just now the manga starts to heading towards the end, after wasting a year on fucking nothing.
Jayden Sanchez
The story eventually turned into a girl and her pet dog, the dog is absolutely loyal to the girl. The girl throws a bone, and it wags its tail happily. The relationship of male control over women is exchanged for an identity. Turned into a female control of the male. And the male has an extremely low self-esteem. There is no thought of resistance.
>This relationship does exist in the real world. A girl does not love her dog, much less marry her dog. The dog is deeply in love with you. Will do anything to get the girl's heart. When the dog chooses a new owner, the girl will be angry because it is the dog that belongs to her.
Fan works, on the other hand, adjust the content of the story back to the mental and physical control of the male over the female. The master-slave relationship is replaced. The content seems less off-putting to the male audience.
Chorizo got awfully lot of screentime ever since the movie arc and this is the result. Don't give me that crap that Mami, Ruka and Sumi don't have anything in them that can give them at least 3-4 chapters mini arcs. Mami got one single chapter of backstory among 43 chapters and that also happened like 200 chapters after the arranged marriage thoughts about her gained traction. Ruka's last mini arc was almost 90 chapters ago. Sumi's 80 chapters ago. Mini? I don't even know. But have Chorizo and Kazuya do the same crap over and over again and pad the fuck out of the obvious outcome that Kazuya will still chase and choose Chorizo even if she hurts him not once, not twice.
Ethan Lee
>Chizuru is still winning Feels great, Chizurubros.
The transition from him renting her(having the "control") to her leading him around is quite smooth actually. It's around the time when her grandma collapses and he wants to come clean to her where she stops him and demands the charade to be continued indefinitely. It's astounding how Chizuru makes everyone around her miserable, by just being there and standing in others' way
Luke Allen
Chizuru turns into a bitch who is afraid of love happening and doesn't know she's a bitch. She ends up hurting everyone including herself. Especially her dog, who is going crazy.
>turns into a bitch She is a bitch all the way through. Whenever she isn't a bitch it's when she acts.
Jordan Lee
Kazuya is so desperate by now that he will just end up having sex with Mini-chan next chapter cause we all know cosplayers are just sluts lusting for dick whenever they see a chance, especially in Japan. >pic rel
He'd be okay with anyone, but the one currently standing at his dorrstep is Mini-chan and not Ru-cuck
Zachary Ross
I truly hope what you say will come true. Now the comics story is so bad and pathetic. The original wasn't even as enjoyable as the fan porn comics. The fan stories aren't even that disappointing.
Problem is: Mini ain't into him and she still ships him harder with Chizuru. The next timeskip is basically an excuse to justify Kazuya not being able to keep going the path he was going and wanting to end things, dampen whatever impact in his environment the "break up" will have and justify whatever action he will take afterwards. Anyway,, a massive timeskip right after a 3 months one looks like he was told to rush the conclusion.
Lincoln Parker
>he was told to rush the conclusion. I'm pretty sure he wanted to end this for a long time (43 chapters) ago, but was told to stretch as long to reach 2nd season of the anime. Which is why little to nothing happens during those chapters and why the ultimate confrontation has no real consequences. It's not the ending is rushed but everything before is bloated.
Zachary Torres
>has no real consequences. Has one. Kibe following the path of darkness. It will be solved magically after Kazuya "rental breaks up" with Chizuru
Chase Carter
I think mami should win because she could bully the MC into not being as pathetic
>bully the MC into not being as pathetic You sepelled >bully into suicide wrong, okay well the outcome is quite similar.
Gavin Nguyen
I genuinely don't think she would do that its like intentionally breaking your favourite toy
Xavier Thompson
I've come to wonder what Mami would act like towards Kazuya if she did end up hooking up with him again.
Camden Stewart
>Kibe following the path of darkness. We don't really know about anyone really, but I think the 3 months (skipping Christmas and New Years) suggests that either Kazuya was actually shut in his room for past three months and ignored the outside world (quit uni, quit his job, ignore any family gatherings and his friends) letting shit collect in his room, waiting for that fucking response, or Nobody actually believed in his lie: granny and parents give up on him, that's why there was no contact with Chizuru during New Years like there was last year (why force Chizuru-hime to spend time with Kazuya), Kibe stops hanging out with him(and automatically Kuri and the rest of their circle: basically he gets ostracized for trying to fool everybody)
Andrew Campbell
>Gets drunk in the bar with her friends like in ch 4 (?) >She actually drinks herself this time because she's frustrated about her failed paradise incident >Kazuya and his friends hit by >Kazuya obviously gets drunk too >They are both wasted this time >Drunk-Kaz bringing half-passed-put Mami to his apartment, because he doesn't know a better option >They end up having drunk sex like in Reiji's NTR panels from the beginning because Mami teased Kazu-simp a bit too much and the alcohol let her stop caring.
Bentley Sullivan
>trying to fool everybody He didn't really fool Kuri
Michael Lopez
Kuri just followed the group
Anthony Taylor
I could actually imagine Reiji pulling this shit (he obviously likes NTR) and then Chizuru finding out about it and getting jelous and some wants him now by herself bs ... They then and up quickly married. Only to find out that Mami's pregnent (again) from Kazuya and that one night stand. More drama appears and and Reiji's new Manga about 2 kanojos as a office woker can finally start! Yippie!
Camden Stewart
forgot > t.
and *end not and
Chase Barnes
Perfect ending to shit series bravo Reiji
Luke Hughes
>Chizuru >getting jelous never gonna happen
Dominic Cooper
As the biggest chizurufag here I'll come out and say it
3 M O N T H S
NIGGA IF I WAS MARRIED OF 30 YEARS AND GOT GHOSTED LIKE THIS FOR 3 MONTHS THATD BE AN INSTANT DIVORCE. WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK IS REIJI THINKING? DID HE THINK IT WAS OKAY JUST BECAUSE HE SHOWED HER ATTEMPTING TO REPLY? 3 FUCKING MONTHS? THE BITCH BEST BE IN A COMA OR HAVE LOST ALL 4 LIMBS, ALRIGHT YOU KNOW WHAT? FINE, DONT MEET FACE TO FACE DESPITE BEING NEIGHBOURS BUT NOT EVEN A SINGLE TEXT?
YOURE TELLING ME THE KEK GOT THIS DEPRESSED OVER IT BUT HASNT SEEN HER LEAVE OR COME OUT HE HOUSE IN 3 MONTHS EITHER TO CONFRONT HER BULLSHIT?
UN FUCKING BELIEVABLE THIS IS GARBAGE WRITING OF THE HIGHEST LEVEL
Ryan Hughes
For me it was when she backtracked on her own confession on the ferris wheel. That's when I knew she was only ever going to lead him on. If she backtracks like he does, then what if she's the same piece of shit on the inside too? I started looking at her in a different light since then.
Anthony Ortiz
He should've sent 1 more text just to check up on her a couple days after the initial one. If she ignored it again then it's time to move on
Christian Bennett
>THIS IS GARBAGE WRITING OF THE HIGHEST LEVEL When romcoms run way too long they seem to reach a point where they jump the shark and abandon common logic. High Risk Mission Therapy may be a bad example because the very setup is ludicrous, but by the end of the manga the school has a system of chutes and passages that allows MC to move fast around the school to administer"treatment" and fucking magical fairies. Hajimete no gal during Kyoto trip have the characters fall into a dungeon/escape room scenario that requires them doing lewd stuff to escape out of fucking nowhere. Romcoms shouldn't run that long.
>suggests that either Kazuya was actually shut in his room for past three months and ignored the outside world (quit uni, quit his job, ignore any family gatherings and his friends) There must be an error then, because Kazuya's hair didn't grow and his beard is a 3 weeks long at best. Besides, only one pest didn't left him (but just because she wanted to get sure of something, after that, she relaxed). Anyway, we haven't seen his lowest point yet (long hair Reijizuya) and what would have been the trigger for him to finish things. One thing is what has made him shut himself for other 1-3 months (6 at worst) and turn him into something straight taken from Boy's Abyss. And who/what was the one/the thing/thought that made him take that radical decision??
Ayden Davis
I always felt like the story is divided into 2 parts, probably unintentionally. The pre movie arc and post movie arc halves.
Imo, things were developing between them at a pretty-standard-but-slightly-stretched-out romcom pace before the movie arc. Like yeah, I can take Chizuru not being sure about her feelings before that.
But after the movie arc the plot point about her not even acknowledging the possibility that she likes Kazuya was introduced, immediately cheapening literally every development they had before it and by proxy cheapening future developments too, because now Kazuya has gone above and beyond what a friend would do to help. He made a movie for her and rushed to be able to show it to her grandma on her deathbed ffs. It's even worse because after the movie she also starts this bitch made behavior where she constantly avoids him, even though he keeps trying to confront her.
Connor Nguyen
The part where they haven't seen eachother for 3 months despite being neighbours cracked me up
how do you help someone that doesn't want to be helped
Gavin Hughes
If only Kaz didn't ear garlic and didn't try to introduce her to his grandma. You can't.
Anthony Butler
>If only Kaz didn't ear garlic and didn't try to introduce her to his grandma. that has little to do with it, if Kazuya just took his time and stomached the break up like he was supposed to, he could've continue his uneventful life getting rejected from time to time, but he decided to use a shortcut and that was his mistake.
Noah Anderson
and because of that I can't see the manga ending up as anything other than a cautionary tale
If they'll even get together it will be after a 10 year time skip when the rental history will be long forgotten, Nagomi will be long dead and everyone else would have a happy life, but it will feel really tacked on like a publisher's interference. No sex, no kiss, just a obligatory happy ending.
Justin Bailey
You sound like you are talking aboit trying to convince somebody to not commit suicide.
Liam Wright
>that has little to do with it, if Kazuya just took his time and stomached the break up like he was supposed to, he could've continue his uneventful life getting rejected from time to time, but he decided to use a shortcut and that was his mistake. And did that just to take back on Mami, even though he doesn't want to admit it.
Michael Phillips
suicide by renkano
Juan Bailey
She may be stating facts, but not because she wants Kazuya to be happy (she doesn't). She should see him now, she'd like the view.
Luis Price
It ended up looking like that, but I don't think it was ever his intention, it was Kibe's fault to be perfectly honest, maybe he wanted to stir more shit between them to give himself a chance with Mami
I been out of the loop, did they ever retcon Kazuya jacking it to cuck shit in the pool. I read the author got so much shit even his editor got involved in scolding him and comment sections for his books were closed. What the fuck was he thinking with that shit, this is a romcom not some NTR doujin, what a retard.
Ethan James
It happened but only Kazuya knows
Dylan Torres
>this is a romcom doubt
Isaiah Richardson
Nope its still canon
Logan Howard
Makes me wanna stop reading, ngl. I hate cuck shit.
Carson Morris
Might want to quit now user, we've been theorizing that in the 3 months since leaving the hotel arc that she ghosted him and got a boyfriend to fuck to prove to herself that she doesn't have feelings for him. Personally I don't think she has any feelings at all anymore so she doesn't really have anything to prove, but I can see it happening.
Jayden Sullivan
>got a boyfriend She got herself a role thanks to Umi (I wonder what he'll want as compensation) and is fully absorbed in that.
Gavin Sanders
>ghosted him and got a boyfriend to fuck to prove to herself that she doesn't have feelings for hi Honestly I hope the MC doesn't end up with chizuwhore anymore.
The panel that fried whatever was left of Kazuya's brain.
Joseph Hughes
And because of the Baidu leak (i guess it was intentional because of the shitstorm), all sense of hype was just... banished. We already know Kazuya is gonna reach his "Boy is Abyss" moment soon and pull a final rental date to burn every bridge that could keep him tied to Chizuru.
Hudson Perez
We hate Choriputa here
Adrian Bell
It holds no weight anymore. Kazuya is going to put an end to everything. He won't insist anymore, won't give troubles to anyone anymore, he'll just...disappear. Nobody will know he will kill himself because nofuckingbody cares.
