I'm not saying the threads became a round table overnight, but the arc brought in a lot of energy and hype to threads that were previously dying and full of ottering, and among that, there was more discussion than average.

I still don't get why of all the girls it's Sachi who ended up being the most popular girl on Yea Forums. It can't simply be because she's an imouto or because she loves Nagi because she was the most popular girl here since chapter 1, not to mention imoutos aren't always the most popular girls in a harem (otherwise Kobato would be the most popular girl in Haganai, which she isn't).

Erika is too phoned in as the main girl, types like Hiro are never popular on Yea Forums, and Ai was introduced way too late not to mention she was character assassinated in the hotel arc.
On top of being an imouto, Sachi presents good chemistry with Nagi and spices up the story. However, while Sachi may have the most fans, she also has the most detractors and they are very vocal.

It's no wonder when you have an undeveloped and quite boring heroine that mangaka has needed to put some effort into before readers stop caring about her, and the rival doesn't go on the offensive either.
As says, I guess Yea Forums just liked her for the lulz, but then genuinely liked her as the story developed. She still has her flaws, and lots of detractors, specially in normie places, because of the sibling and family status stuff.
