Nothing wrong with Chizuru. The problem is the author who drags the plot. We know Chizuru has feelings for Kazuya and she is struggling to deal with them. If she were to act on them and finalize her relationship, the story would end quickly and the author does not want that because he wishes to milk the manga for as long as possible. Even as a Chizuru shipper who's confident in Kazuya x Chizuru endgame, I find the dragging infuriating and vexing.
