All I have to do is list off a bunch of '70's, 80's, and 90's anime that I was watching while your moms and dads were busy making you and I would win easily.
For some reason everyone seems to think "whatever airing currently is the best" and so they don't bother to watch the classics.
Or, even if they do, they speedwatch them and miss the subtle nuances and subtexts.
