There you go. Maybe you should look at your chart more carefully. All it says is "Flow chart of trend and influence in Japanese animation art." Ninja Scroll doesn't even do much of anything on there. Inoue just thinks it's a typical representation of Madhouse and the trends of that era. Nowhere does it say Ninja Scroll is one of the highest achievements of Japanese animation. Inoue has given more praise to K-on than to Ninja Scroll.
