Ending for this anime was pretty open, There are a lot of things to be explained.
Sequel can also be easily made if they were inclined to continue but you can also say that the series has ended in the best spot too.

I am not saying it has to have a sequel but it ended with a lot of questions.
You could say that mystery is a part of the charm of the series but still there are things to be explained like who is that blonde girl and whether the world they are living has another drifters or people with memories of the previous world.

Blonde girl probably helped nagara in getting that job, she was probably creeped out by drift nagara's sudden change of behavior
or she was a new entity(nozomi 2.0) created due to original compass but it would mean that the drift nozomi compass(the one that nagara knew) should not be present but nagara had that in his drawer.

This is one of the animes that feels so surreal, it seems like a dream and i like that about this anime.
Even the last episode feels like some sort of dream.
Only thing I wish was that there was a conclusive ending. They should have showed other characters and expanded a bit on the blonde co worker.
