Digimon Adventure didn't have romance. Digimon Adventure 02 which was a direct sequel had moments between Sora/Yamato and Ken/Yolei. Show ended with everyone married and with children. Digimon Tamers had Takato and Juri who later get engaged in the voice drama. Digimon Frontier had Takuya kinda liking Zoey but they never resolved that subplot. Tai, the original protagonist got a love interest 15 years later but no confessions were given
