It's completely different. It follows the romance of three kingdoms more closely, and male characters are prominent in the plot and in combat. First and second seasons both diverge halfway to give an anime original end and all other seasons and ovas are fanfiction.

Then you don't know what you are talkign about, They pee in the OVAs and specials that came after the third season
