why would I help him? he'd kill me once I outlive my usefulness.
Austin Bell
He didn't kill Misa or Teru Mikami
Jonathan Peterson
No, I want to commit crimes
Nolan Foster
t. Dane Cook
Asher Ross
He wanted to kill Misa multiple times but couldn't. Then he died screeching about Mikami.
John Jenkins
He could have killed Misa after REM died but he didn't
Robert Cox
he forgot
Daniel Brown
If you don't want people committing crimes then just remove the laws, bro.
Logan Reyes
>God of death following you
Forget
???? Profit!!!!
Alexander Roberts
I dont think his plan would work. The death penalty does not act as a deterrant in real life because criminals think they won't be caught. Why would it work here?
Tyler Reyes
Is Righto the type of lawfag that'd kill people that smoked weed while it was illegal then start smoking it himself after it was legalized?
Alexander Bell
>riuk watches you masturbating
It's very disturbing BUT I can kill people I dislike.
Chase Cook
The death penalty does work you're retarded if you think it doesnt work
Connor Stewart
Adulthood really is realizing that Light was a fucking idiot.
Austin Myers
Why would a murderer be willing to risk life in prison but suddenly be deterred by death penalty?
Bentley Wilson
Lights ultimate goal was to have an effect that scared foreign nations and domestic too. No wars under Yagami's watch would deter Nationalism wars
Jonathan Johnson
Everyone is scared of death broski
Luis Young
Everyone is scared of living in a cage getting fugged by big bubba
Jeremiah Davis
Yagami if he were arrested would be put in solitary confinement.
Jace Collins
Could he? Wouldn't that attract way too much suspicion at that point? Everyone around him knew her.
Jackson Brooks
I think you mean protective custody, solitary confinement is what they use to punish bad behavior
Jonathan Thompson
>solitary confinement
Charles Manson was not allowed to perform infront of the Jury because they said he was too "Charismatic"
Jacob Baker
yes
maybe i could give him some advice
like don't fucking reveal that you got insider info to police files available only to higher-ups, narrowing the suspects from 40 million (population of kanto region after he took the bait on national TV) to just a few hundred
Dylan Roberts
Rurouni Kenshin OVA is the best OVA (Intro) of ANIME HISTORY
Juan Gonzalez
Ruroini Kenshin is better watched sub
Jeremiah Rogers
light would smoke weed if he wanted to regardless of legality, because he's a megalomaniac with a god complex. his ideal world is one where he's the only one allowed to commit crimes.
Jayden Myers
Light's entire character is tied to narcissism and psychopathy. Everything he does is to serve himself, there are no altruistic actions, only actions disguised as altruism. He doesn't actually like any of the girls he goes on dates with, he just gets off on manipulating them. "Killing all criminals" isn't to serve justice, it's to elevate Kira to a godlike status and reshape society to his liking. Light almost never talks about justice past the beginning except for the very end where he's caught because it's only lipservice to justify his immoral actions.
I would not help Light because he has all the power and zero attachment to anyone. People survive because their deaths would be too suspicious otherwise or they're useful idiots.
You know, if L actually wanted to trap Light, all he had to do was put him in a public database for major criminals for a few weeks after staging a fake crime. Since they were all being killed by Kira, it wouldn't make sense for Light to inexplicably survive.
Grayson Baker
Everything Raito did was to benefit humanity as a whole. Prove ME WRONG
Anthony Sanders
He only killed other killers and people who directly got in his way, right? If so, then I probably would help him.
Christian Nguyen
Hell no.
Easton Morales
>The death penalty
What about a fear of God.
Parker Ross
He’d kill me one day for sure
James James
tbf his goal at that point shifted from world domination to killing L. keeping himself 100% out of the spotlight would never get him close
Hudson Price
light was never under enough suspicion at the time when he had access to the database for L to risk randomly killing an innocent person. after L became extremely suspicious of light, light no longer had nor relied on the database access. he was using news reports at that point
Jackson Turner
>The world will start to become a better place if I consolidate power to a single point
>I get really good grades
>My dad's a cop
I would shoot him until my hands bled and then I'd keep shooting
Amen
Andrew Thomas
No, murder is wrong.
Xavier Jones
Andrew Martinez
Does he already know my real name?
Hunter Thompson
Was Light always evil, or did he slowly become that way?
Is this image supposed to convey innocence or insanity?
Brandon Hernandez
Was the reaction after his first kill not enough for you?
Christopher Hall
Innocence
Blake Nelson
Despite how controversial the ending was, I actually thought it’s kind of fitting having Near, someone who Light underestimated and thought of only as a “lesser” L, be the one to call him out on his bullshit.
Light was egotistical and privileged, and throughout his entire life people have been feeding his ego, he was practically a "winner" at life. So of course he’d gain a god complex when handed the power of the Death Note.
Anthony Young
I'd help him to an early grave.
Brandon Young
>helping a mass-murdering psychopath with a god complex rule the world through terror
What could possibly go wrong?
Jason Perry
seeandYagami is not a psychopath
Nathaniel Sanchez
Was not.
Jordan Ross
Yagami didn't want to rule by fear, (even though thats how the God of our world does), ever hear of "the fear of God"? He just wanted crime and wars to go away here look at this scan
Wyatt Parker
He gets over those deaths really fast and then kills so many people over a few days that even a death god is impressed. He takes great joy in killing people he sees as his enemies and has no problems driving his own father to his death when it's in his interest to do so. He's a total fucking psychopath.
Jackson Rivera
>gives orders to the US president using the threat that he'll kill him if he refuses
Yeah man, Light totally didn't rule through fear.
Ian Martinez
Nah pham. The author didn't even consider Yagami a psychopath
Ryuks/ the authors comments on Raito are as follows..
>You're abnormally intelligent, a positive person who will sacrifice anything to achieve your vision! You'd have lived a good life if you didn't pick up the Death Note. Probably.
The author/Ryuk did not consider Yagami a psychopath
Ryuks comments on L
>Your creative skills surpass that of an ordinary person, but you also have a knack for telling lies. That's why it's hard for people to tell if the shocking reasoning you're giving is true or not.
The author/Ryuk says Yagami is a genius who is a positive person
Anthony Edwards
Also see pic related. Also user you're forgetting that Yagami wanted to be a detective before and AFTER the death note
Christian Davis
Tsugumi should write alternative story where Light never becomes mass murderer and just go solve crime and shit.
Lucas Hill
Hell yeah I would. Shinigami eyes? Why the fuck not, fuck half my lifespan. Eat it, who gives a fuck.
Isaac Walker
Yagami wanted to be a cop/detective because he wants to clean up the world. L only solves crime because its like a game to him
but chapter 5 shows Yagami and L getting along so whatever
Angel Sanchez
a world with no jews or niggers? sure
Daniel Wright
Ah yes, the power to kill anyone, anywhere in the hands of a single person.
Seems like a nice kid, nothing wrong here.
Eli Hill
The author said Soichiro Yagami (Lights father) is the only good person in the series
Lights not far off though. His father hates criminals, Light hates evil.
Adrian Ramirez
Wait wut
You mean to say Misa herself didn't cause suspicion??
Wyatt Myers
Too bad he was a fucking retard, at least he's the only character that has a happy death
Zachary Harris
>I'll kill everyone's who's already in jail, because clearly anyone who's been convicted by the japanese government MUST actually evil!
>But Light, if you do that, eventually you'll be the only criminal left
>Eh, nandatte, Ryuk? I can't possibly be evil, I get good grades in school and everyone loves me! What are you talking about? Anyway, I'm going to be the God of this new world!
Gavin Morgan
moe shit poster kys
Zachary Gonzalez
Death Note is all plot and no style.
Jacob Hall
I would kill him and take the book for myself.
