Not really. Vol 5 and vol 8 are mostly irrelevant. They can each be done in 1-2 eps. A lot of the book is just 50% monologuing about random shit that don't matter. S2 can have 3-4 eps for vol 4, 2 for vol 5, 2 for vol 6, 3-4 for vol 7, and 1 for 7.5. S3 can have 2 for vol 8, 2 for vol 9, 3 for 10, 3 for 11, and 2 for 11.5

I've just finished volume 5 of the 2nd year, it was actually quite ballsy how the author finished her off, you could say that he wanted to get rid of her since her arc is over, but the scene had the same tension as a death game, and it was rough that Ayanokouji went that hard on her even though he rejected her at the start of the volume. It would have been interesting to let the same scenario play out for class B too. There has to be some kind of disaster waiting for them now.

I hope they don't ruin the Kiyo and ryuen fight scene

Ayanokouji spills the beans on Kushida's dark side, using his point splitting contract as leverage and she goes nuclear and tries to truthbomb the class. Horikita shields her anyway so Ayanokouji went with a plan B to pin the expulsion on the lowest performer in the stat tracker app they now have in year 2 which was Sakura. Sakura being that kind of person convinces her bestie Haruka to pull the trigger on her.

The first two volumes aren't very good plus S1 fucked up quite a few things as well. I recommend reading Volume 4 and see how you feel about the series then.
