When browsing /dbs/, one realizes just how much Gokulards bend over backwards to portray Goku as heroic, despite the fact that he's a deadbeat dad who risks the lives of everyone on Earth. He drops the fight with Buu to let Gotenks take over, hands Senzus to Cell and Moro, and causes the ToP. Goku is, by anyone's standards, a sociopathic manchild, but his idiot fans still thinks he's heroic.
Diaperku cuts through all of these forced narratives. Gone are the Super Saiyan forms, the epic battles, and the usual reverence given to brainless eating machines in Shonen animes. In their place, we are given Goku as he truly is: a dumb baby subjecting everyone to his idiocy. The stupid grin on Diaperku's face embodies both the WAKU WAKU of Goku as well as the innocent cheer of a baby, thus showing how both are interchangeable. There is no difference between Goku and a baby.
The presence of Gohan in the Diaperku meme is significant. Gohan is the one who suffers the most due to Goku's idiocy, and so portraying him as the one changing the diaper is quite appropriate. Gohan is battered by Cell due to Goku, abandoned as a child by Goku, and now he has to wipe up Goku's shit. Portraying Gohan as the caretaker also embodies how the intellectual Gohan is more of an adult than Goku, even as a child.
The wallpaper with the faces of Goku's friends is also meaningful. Goku is supposedly a great hero, but the wallpaper consisting of his friends' faces implies that Goku is delusional, and is just a baby imagining all his adventures. This parallels how his fans imagine Goku as the hero, even after Toriyama explicitly said he isn't one, but in reality Goku is a brainless manchild.
To summarize, Diaperku accurately lampoons every aspect of Goku: his mistreatment of his son, his stupidity and childishness, and the brown fans' shilling of the character. We should thank Bejitabros for bringing such a laser-precise meme to us, and giving laughs for years to come.
