Uh oh
Studio?
They still haven't said for some reason. We only know the director, writer and a few voice actors. Its a bit worrying
i haven't read the manga yet
The Lucifer and Biscuit Hammer?
Good. I can`t read the manga because of the disgusting art
Character designs look okay, we were never gonna get them to look 100% faithful to Mizukami's style but they're all at least recognizably who they're supposed to be. Hope the reaction faces can be a bit more deformed for comedy's sake though.
it is genuinely worrying at this stage, yes. either this thing has no marketing budget at all or the production has been a mess.
who's that on the background?
animus and anima?
kinda bizarre seeing animus not being a lazy, sleepy mf
yeah
Kind of an Engrish title. Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer makes more sense. The Japanese title is Hoshi no Samidare which plays on the main character's name.
Fatty doesn't look fat enough
>we were never gonna get them to look 100% faithful to Mizukami's style
It's surprising to me that these are actually less faithful than the Planet With designs, but I guess in that case it may have been a sort of reverse situation where Mizakami himself had a hand in character designs for the anime and then just used the same ones for the manga.
It's gonna be like that househusband yakuza anime adaptation...
I'm pretty sure that was advertised as a motion manga (and this wasn't communicated well in English media), while this is being advertised as an anime.
this smells like a Netflix show
you should user, it's really good and not that long
You should get your nose checked. It says right in the image it's airing on TV. Maybe it will be licensed by Netflix but that doesn't make it a "Netflix show" any more than say HXH is because it's on Netflix.
Honestly, I would still watch it.
Netflix is the newest boogeyman for people that want to doom post but have no idea what to actually doom post about to latch onto which is weird because there's actual genuine reasons to be worried about this
Flop.
the official website has been updated
Holy shit the marketing is so bad
>this crap got a sticky
lmao
But who was swordfish?
How many cours?
what knight are you? why do i get so many fish
MCs face looks a bit off. The rest are ok.
I'd imagine 2 or 3. I don't know if they could adapt everything in 26 episodes but I don't think they'd need too much more than that. They've already said it's going to be a full adaptation though.
It does a little weird but that might be because of the angle
>They've already said it's going to be a full adaptation though.
Did they say that in a "we'll take as many episodes as it takes to adapt the whole thing" way or in a "we're stuffing the whole thing into 12 episodes" way?
animus reincarnated
The announcement just said that it will adapt the whole manga. They haven't elaborated on anything
it doesn't really capture mizukami style like planet with did.
but im on full copium when it comes to this project so i will take anything.
Wait did snake knight always have a real sword?
I thought it was like a wooden one?
it was, this is probably cosplay stuff
I remember wood maybe it becomes steel when she goes super knight.
Massive flop incoming
>オーナメンテッドラスの騎士です。
I'm dead, am I?
thank you /biz/bro, I won't invest money in this anime, just gonna torrent it
user, Denno coil is one of my fav anime ever. Who gives a fuck about sales? I only hope it can make the original material justice
I love how MC didn't actually get the powerup
Who the fuck cares? Its not like its an original or adaptation of an ongoing manga that needs to sell well to continue. Its adapting something thats already done and they said they're doing it all. All the money needed for this has already been invested into it
someone mentioned in a SpyxFamily thread that the next season shitposting nest could be Hoshi no Samidare or MiA and I can see it. Not because the anime being super famous like SpyxFamily but because a lot of anons like the manga and you know how starved for attention those leeches are
>preemptive coping
236689645
sorry, you this time
>killing by X
kek I don't even know how I remember this anime.
shitposting it's just something you have to get used to if you browse Yea Forums.
nisio stuff may be trash sometimes, but it's always memorable
>announced in January
>airs in July
>no PV or studio yet
There's no way this isn't going to be a disaster right?
that visual looks terrible. I bet it is made by Silverlink
Is someone collecting all posts like in case the anime turns out to be good?
Do it yourself
Mizukami was the character designer for Planet With, unlike here.
Just tell me that the studio isn't JC Staff
At this point you're going to wish it was J.C. Staff
This really doesn't look like it has a big budget.
Is Chainsawman's anime also airing in the summer? Having all three of those shows would make Yea Forums unusable.
She pretty much only uses a wooden bamboo sword.
But her domain is called Flamberge, which is the type of sword with a sort of wavy blade, and it plays into the 'knights' motif.
Part 2 of the CSM manga is in summer, but the anime itself slated for Fall. But there's also RWBY by Shaft airing in summer.
Season 2 of Hatakaru Maou is airing in summer if that counts
WAIT WAIT WHAT, you are not shitting with me right ? wasn't the anime, more likely the first season aired on 2010 or so ?
