Monaito begs Bardock to leave him and Granola to their fate and run away, but Bardock disagrees. Gas says that even if Bardock runs away, the Saiyans don't have much time left anyway (that's what Elec told him). Bardock has had enough of Gas saying nonsense: “You are the ones who have no future! The fight resumes, and Bardock tells Monaito and Granola to leave. This is his fight, and they are in his way! Gas is fed up with Bardock's annoying attacks. He can't waste any more time, so he decides to unleash his instincts. Meanwhile, Monaito pulls out the Dragon Balls. It is forbidden to use them for themselves, but using them for an alien should be OK.

Gas is lame but I do enjoy weapon materialization fighting styles through good god can I imagine that being a huge pain in the ass to draw all the time let alone animate, that's why there are no green lantern games. And it also makes you ponder certain things like why a mace and not a sword when a mace is a bludging weapon and a sword is a slashing/stabbing weapon? The sword could potentially do more damage than the mace. If you can make weapons does that also include long distance weapons like a gun or a bow and arrow, a crossbow or even modernized weapons like a railgun, a chain gun, a grenade or a straight up bomb? It's not even limited to weapons that exist, what about fictional weapons? I'd make a keyblade or a ddrill arm or a megabuster or the z saber or an arm cannon or even bolverk. The possibilities are endless. Which is why such a fighting style is interesting on paper and hard as fuck to execute properly even the GL comics tend to go for the mundane instead of the extrodanary most of hte time like slugging a bad guy with a green knuckle with brass knuckles on it or a baseball bat or flat out running over them in a bus. No matter what you do someone somewhere will wonder why that instead of this you feel me? Even that hottie in the TOP who fought like this could have trapped Roshi in a cage instead of trying to seduce him and almost get raped corrected

Well at least this explains how Bardock won the fight, Moniato wished for Bardock to be stronger than Gas if only by a little so he was strong enough to defeat him but not enough to kill him. Through it does make me wonder, Elec and the heaters acted like they never saw the dragon before, using the dragon back in the flash back there's no way they'd not notice it, through it also raises a bunch of other questions like "Why did he not use them to bring granola's mother back to life?" or "Why did he not use them to teleport himself, granola, his mother's corpse and Bardock away to another planet"? I want to believe that will be answered this chapter but welll you know how shit the pacing is for the manga,it reads like a weekly despite being a monthly. mainly because Toyotaro has a bad habit of making too many fighting pages instead of trying to advance the plot, weird that in an action manga the action is the most boring part of it.

The Potara Earrings that fuse them and a chosen one together forever unless they wish the dragonballs to undo the fusion or like zamasu they aren't a true kai and thus like the mortals it wears off in 1 hour.
Remember their job is mainly observation so they aren't honest to goodness battlers, Zamasu was only barely capable of fighting Goku in super saiyan 2 and as such had to rely on his immortality to outlast him in blue, black was the real monster of the duo and he needed a toned well trained saiyan body to get that power.
