It is, but keep your expectations low.

>tortured by his grandfather for fucking years
>brainwashed to hate humanity
>forced to meet him anyways because apparently he’s in the wrong somehow
>grandfather now happy, living the life while the kid he literally tortured for years suffers PTSD and is now a misanthropist, incapable of integrating into society
>forgives him anyways, wastes his one and only wish on a piece of shit that doesn’t deserve to live any longer than he does

Yep, dropped. Recommend me something good next time faggots.

It's shit

To forgive is to grow

I can't wait. half a year with biscuit hammer threads.

Sure you can say that, but the character overcoming such a traumatic event that ruined his personality in a matter of seconds isn’t a good example of character development. Why bother using his grandfather as a plot point anyways if it’s just going to become meaningless after a few chapters? Most anime go through with this as well. With a character instantly overcoming any obstacle without any problems. I’m not going to waste my time reading something that has already been written a billion times before. Seen it before, not gonna see it again.

It wasn't over seconds, his grandfather and trauma were brought up repeatedly through the first section of the story as he tries to slowly go against what chains him down. It's also clear that he had been running away from the idea of his grandpa for several years now. Although it wasn't depicted in its entirety, I think it's clear enough that what we see is the culmination of the slow process he went through over time and especially after meeting the princess.

grow up

To accept is to grow. To accept that shitty things happened to you and can't change that and that you should focus your energy on overcoming your issues instead of being tied to your past.
Being forced to forgive people who don't deserve it is abusive.

Read on user, Yuuhi's relationship with his grandpa still struggled and plays a role in his character arc till the last third of the story. Grandpa did a number on him but he's still family and raised him to adulthood so it's not like it 100% hate on Yuuhi's side.

He wasn't being forced. It was still all on Yuuhi to move past the pain.

news literally today

Then post it, nerd

Thanks, nerd

Specifically the schedule is they'll air all the episodes of Planet With first (with a break every 4 episodes because they're considerate like that) and then the announcements will happen. So feel free to also watch Planet With for the next six hours or so.

Actually it should start in around 5 hours

Don't know what it is, so it's probably terrible

Eyes too sexy, it will be tough.

Mizukami is tweeting stuff about Planet With while they're doing the Planet With broadcast

twitter.com/nekogaeru

Hmmm

What's the link for the broadcast?

live.nicovideo.jp/watch/lv336035521

it's region locked and full so you'll need a vpn if not in japan and a premium account if you want to watch it, unless someone can tell me a way to bypass that

It wasn't torture, he was just in the wrong despite trying his best. That's a constant with Mizukami stories, characters just try their best.

Anyway, the first volume is weaker than the rest. The grandpa stuff would be treated with much more care and more time later in the stories. There's even another grandpa substory arc that showcases this difference.

the planet with reboradcast has ended, so the cast announcements should star soon after one last break

the special program has started

i don't know japanese though so don't expect me to tell you anything though

keu visual

Mai waifu

I've been browsing this board for years but I've never heard of this series, did anons use another name when talking about it or something, I was so confused by the sticky

Attached: 1623652732765.jpg (265x287, 29.38K)

here's the schedule, i think they're on the third thing now

Attached: Screenshot_20220416-102016~2.png (1398x887, 895.8K)

It's called Hoshi no Samidare / Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer, depending on the version

READ all Mizukami manga

unlike most authors whos new works are just downgrade from their magnum ops
this guy just keep getting better than the last
Biscuit hammer < Youko < Spirit circle

its been in every single "one page thread" for over 10 years

or wait, maybe their on the fourth thing? i used google lens to translate this and the third thing was the main cast announcement which they seem to have moved on from, so I'd say the fourth thing is right

Go read it right now. It's an Yea Forums staple.

oh, here's it google translated:
>Key visual announcement
>What is "Lucifer and the Biscuit of the Planet"?
>Main cast announcement
>What is "Lucifer and the Biscuit of the Planet"? >(2) Fans of water works explain it without spoilers!
>Message from Dr. Satoshi Mizukami

Art looks better than the initial announcement image.
Spirit Circle is weird for me. I don't think I liked it as much as other anons. And Saihate no Solte so far isn't as good as Biscuit Hammer or Sengoku Youko. I read all of them after they were finished though so maybe it's just me reading it as it comes out that's an issue.
>Dr. Satoshi Mizukami
Is this a weird translation thing or does he actually have a PhD?

weird translation thing of sensei i 'd guess

Wrong.

Attached: 1633595989287.gif (300x300, 57.57K)

it was brownish

Compared to Spirit Circle and Sengoku Youko, how much gay nippon spirituality is in here?
I'm the user who absolutely loathes author's metaphysics, it enrages me beyond any reason quite honestly, and it's not something I can help.
I guess it has something to do with how he eschews interpersonal conflict in favour of some dumbass """theme""", which I can't even grasp. I am seeing so much fucking red that I can't even understand whether there were supposed to be any morals in his stories, they just sort of end when the violent conflict is done, and I'm left with narrative blueballs.

I don't know a lot about VAs but the gender of a VA doesn't automatically tells the voice right?
I always imagined the Snake as a girl

alright, program's over think this says it's starting airing on fridays in july at 1:55

Attached: Screenshot_20220416-110841~2.png (2058x938, 1.53M)

What the fuck are you even talking about

Any news on the studio or specific release date (beyond just July)?

if you're sperging about reincarnation, then yes, there's reincarnation but it's not related to the main plot like SC. Just a nod at the end with one secondary character that doesn't affect the plot

kinda worried we still have no studio or more actual staff yet

or a PV

It isn't really weird, "sensei" is used for (medical) doctors

heh, I never imagined the domains being of different colours

i just reused their term

Same. I like it though.

Don't know most of these but why did they cast Matsuoka as Shimaki? Tarou seems way more in his wheelhouse. Glad that Inada is still cast as Nagumo though.

Also how many Princess roles is MAO going to have? She was Peco last season, Ashuna this season and with this she'll be Anima next season.

Going by the visuals it looks like first cour will be up to the knights assembling.

How much CGI?

considering how there's no video footage of the series yet this question is impossible to answer
