How do you make sense of Mandarake pricing? One shop can have a figure for a higher price than another shop who at least by description, has the same figure in better condition. As an example, I see one figure that has a blue stain on the figure and paint coming off a sheath for 7000 yen, another shop has it for 6000 where the only damage mentioned is on the box. What's with that?

I think artists find them helpful. Hopefully the ones you posted have good joints. A good amount of reviews on amazon jp complained that the previous 2017 versions have shitty joints.

Only one Yabuki model was released back in 2017 so I've only read negative comments about the OG ones (smaller BOOBA) with older structure, maybe it's referring to those ones?
I also can't fucking decide between skin color or the grey one lol, DX vs regular as well, I mean it's not overly expensive so I might as well I guess...

It's what you make of it. Maybe because I learn better being able to observe and move with my hands, it helps a lot with grasping what things look at different angles and how to make good poses. It made me learn that even with perfect anatomy, proportions, and perspective if your pose is shit, it's still gonna look shit.

I totally get that. I'm not sure about one of the figmas I'm considering because I hate the sleeves on him. They're made detachable and can be rotated around the hole the sleeves' pegs slide into. But it seems like they fall out if you rotate them too much. And even if you leave them static, they still have the ugly crease of where they're separated from the rest of the arm. I feel like the nendoroid handles the sleeves better. Also, I don't think the detail is all that great on his face which is a shame, since he's a bit of an ikemen. I think I probably will only get the nendo for him and not the figma. He's the cheapest nendo and the second most expensive figma I'm looking at right now, so it makes sense from that angle too.

He was popular enough to get his own spinoff anime, which got popular enough to have 3 anime-original characters imported back into ZKC. It's more likely that someone realized there are Hyobufags to squeeze money out of.

Well there's your problem. I had a fedex package get shipped back and forth between two local distribution centers for two weeks before it finally arrived. Idk what they're doing over there but they're pretty retarded and if something of mine is shipped with fedex I know I can expect at least 2-3 weeks even if it's just coming from a few states over.

The thing is, I’ve seen other people get their box sets already a week ago that are in California where I’m also from. I wouldn’t mind as much if I could see wtf they are doing with the package. Hey anons, do companies usually keep figures on stock after release date?
Say there's a 1/7 releasing at the end of April, what are the chances that there's a few on stock on retailers on May 1st?
It should be pretty normal considering they can't sell everything on preorders...right?

If they have any on the shelf after the first week, they just toss them in the trash.

If it's not for something popular the aftermarket prices won't be too shit.

They usually order more stock than pre-order numbers. Especially as there will be people who cancel or default on the pre-orders, and the stock will flow back to the retailer

Usually amiami sweetens it a bit by reducing the base price to make up for the extra shipping. But if the base cost is the same, it'll always be cheaper straight from GS, right?
