Actually reading 11 tome right now. This series is dumb in a positive way - the MC is OP as fuck ( Mahouka+++ level bullshit), but its usually avoiding getting cringy. Would recomend for anyone who just wants to relax his brain.

I dropped the WN when it reached the mecha part. Though it's not really the mecha part itself but rather that I had more than enough from the 2000s harem-comedy gag of constant "kyaa, hentai!" over and over and over again as it only became more frequent and more cringe as the series went on.

This is technically still the case. You have to get noticed to get an anime adaptation at all. I mean, yeah isekai smartphone is trash but the LNs do have some level of sales popularity to justify its existence. Think about the fact that there's like 100 isekais at it's trash level but people don't know they exist

It's clearly a golden era for LN fans, ten years ago, not even one fifth of LN adaptations were getting sequels.
