Olivia and Angie kinda fall off heavily and their relationship with Leon stagnates, author introduces new girls but they never get any relationship development and that also stagnates, Marie is cute and bratty and she has a "Marie IF" side-story at the end of some volumes where her and Leon fall in love and their relationship actually progresses.

also I wouldn't recommend reading the novels just yet, there is no pay-off at all.
There's a moment in the novel where Leon has to enter the Saint's original ship, and it can only be entered by two people who truly love each other, this should have been a moment where Leon enters with one of the two girls, or maybe both, confirming his love for them, instead the author makes it so that Livia and Angie enter the ship instead, and Leon doesn't take it too well. At the end of the volume he is forced to marry them, not out of his own will, you would think after literally being married he would stop being a sperg. Nope. He doesn't ever touch them or have any romantic moment at all.
