Buying manga from Amazon
thats nothing
It’s still readable, but still. I’m trying to think how and when this happened.
>buying anything from Amazon
I don't care how cheap or hard to find the item is, fuck that company.
I feel and know this pain.
doesnt happen with amazon jp
so return it bitch
You think for a company that started off selling books, they would do a better job packing them? It’s not just manga, but all books in general. You’re always seeing reviews of how the books arrived all fucked up.
>iphoneposters are retarded
Who knew?
>buying manga
>THE CRITERION ZATOICHI COLLECTION
FUCKING
B A S E D
A S
F U C K
I want that so bad
the irony is not lost on me either user.
>buying manga
OP I highly recommend you get Hara-Kiri and Sword of Doom as well to round out those chambara films
Every time I bought a DVD or a movie the disc always comes loose in the case and even the teeth that hold it in place get broken. Amazon's service has gone to complete shit,.
Yeah lol I got it half off. Off Amazon…
I’ve been meaning to watch Hara-Kiri. Tatsuya Nakadai Is a great actor.
Why the fuck ghibli films have rat logo on them claiming it "presents"? how do you mutts support this shit
>literally paying for anything at all
Yeah it's a great film.
It's a sad story, quite a gruesome story, but it's really well made and acted and written. It's a revenge film. But it's a very samurai revenge film. He doesn't just turn up and start slashing. He makes absolutely sure that they understand 100% what they have done beforehand. In many ways the film is a giant middle finger to bushido.
so you came here to show off your consumerism ability you fucking goy?
Get a refund
>buying from Kikezon
Very cringe
>Jean Reno autographed picture
>moveis on the left
Very base-
>skyfall
>atlantis
Cringe again
What a rollercoaster
I feel like it would cost my more money wasting gas driving to the drop off zone to return the item for a new one.
>buying localized trash
Kill yourself sub human
How about ebay?
Good point, but they don’t have two day shipping.
Do you guys think it’s worth wasting time returning? Either way, last time I buy from Amazon.
eBay is infested with Chinks now (even sellers inside the US), have to be cautious.
Yea i always wanted to get mangas but i feel it would be a waste of money... motivate me to do it bros...
>buying from amazon
Kill yourself now.
I only buy physical manga if they’re either one-shots, or a series that I really enjoy. Besides that, I usually read them online. I started reading chainsaw man on my phone yesterday and I love it to the point where I might just buy the manga.
I've ordered a decent amount of manga from amazon and it's never happened to me
Out where I live, for some reason, thunderstorms threaten the fucking internet box. It's literally been blown apart TWICE in different locations, once in the basement, the other in a normal location, so it's not just some coincidence. So now we turn it off when there's any lightning whatsoever, which means more than ever, I'm fucking vindicated for my obsession with physical and offline media and can pass time with games or manga.
Started reading Volumes 15 and 16 of Dragon Ball, which I got recently, and it was finally clear before I knew it.
Hey retard, organize your fucking shelf.
>stack of Ghibli films and then BOOM, Hyouka right in the middle of it
>Gattaca (good movie) randomly thrown in the middle of some anime
>Oregairu volumes not together
Anything physical, you just grab and start enjoying, especially books. No internet, no need for any kind of reader or organizing a folder. Personally, fanservice also loses some luster digitally. Actually holding a page with bare tits in your hand is surreal, don't know why.
>You think for a company that started off selling books, they would do a better job packing them? It’s not just manga, but all books in general. You’re always seeing reviews of how the books arrived all fucked up.
Coming from someone that does work for Amazon, they don't give a shit. Still, whoever idiot was handling your book should've marked it as damaged.
Isn't it the seller's fucking fault?
I can understand, user. That’s also one thing I don’t like about digital, it’s a double edge sword. You don’t even TRULY own it if you read it digitally.
I’ve been meaning to do that for a while, but there’s so many movies on my shelf that I just get lazy trying to do it.
What manga are you reading, and are they available on Amazon?
Yeah, I figure. I used to work at FedEx as a package handler. Some of my coworkers would just put shit, and I can’t really blame them, yet I don’t condone it. There should be a better way doing shipping, but at the same time, I understand why.
I hated working at FedEx.
I think Amazon products packs the times at warehouse?
I wanted to make fun of you but then I saw that you have Solaris, fucking based
I ordered some from Amazon JP once. Forced DHL shipping which wasn't cheap, and the dumbass delivery guy left it sitting in the rain.
You can still make fun of me, I enjoy it!
And yeah, Solaris is a great movie. I remember watching it a couple years ago while I was still in college. It’s probably my favorite Tarkovsky movie. It’s very intimate and deep.
>Amazon is bad because it just is okay
Fuck off retard
I've had great experiences getting mangas from japan with DHL shipping.
>Good point, but they don’t have two day shipping.
Who the fuck cares about two day shipping? You're still paying out the ass for worse service than if you would have just waited.
>Some of my coworkers would just put shit, and I can’t really blame them, yet I don’t condone it. There should be a better way doing shipping, but at the same time, I understand why.
I work at a Fulfillment Center and seeing how many people mishandle products there it's pretty obvious OP's book got screwed up because some stower or picker was being a dumbass.
Is this true?
Good point. I’m just trying to find another source for manga. The books I want are never in stock unless it’s a reseller. It’s just that Amazon is easier, and I options are limited.
The packaging itself was fine. No folds are anything like that.
Based
If you need someone to spoonfeed you as to why amazon is a shitty company then you should hang yourself, retard
mine showed up ahead of schedule and packaged well. Got some Japanese newspapers used for packing too which is neat.
All I see is a free book becasue Amazon will just refund it and you get to keep it.
how long has greg been in highschool? I stopped reading after the last straw
I wish.
Couldn’t tell you if I wanted to. Stopped reading around the Löded Diper arc, and that was around chapter 200.
Contact them via the chat. They always just tell me to keep it and they'll refund or send me a new copy.
I'm still going to buy my manga from Amazon.jp and there's nothing you can do about it
Have you seen Rocky?
I have.
It's such a fucking good movie. Got any other recs?
I only got damaged manga twice when buying on amazon and on both times they gave me a refund nad let me keep the manga
yeah i've had multiple volumes now come from amazon with water damage (at least, i fucking hope it was water). i've started using rightstuf as my main source and they package things really well, but lately it's been taking them 2 weeks to ship out orders. i'd rather that than use amazon again though.
Ok?
Most of the manga I buy is from small resellers that buy directly from the publishers and sell on platforms like shopee, olx and mercado livre (basically ebay) and it's crazy how much better they package the manga, I've never received a single damaged manga from them.
>amazon
You can just send it back and get another..........................
