Yeah this is what I want to know too. If Rin is in the anime then they're either skipping chapters (very likely) or rearranging them so they can introduce Rin from the start (unlikely).

Since 95% of this manga is filler, similar to Takagi, they could simply choose random chapters as they like. I believe they're gonna end it with the Kyoto arc.
