I never understood this. Why do all-female cast shows have issues showing male characters, but all-male cast shows rarely if ever have issues showing female characters? Anime girls' personalities are not written to be realistic in the first place, so I don't know why people assume that their friendships with other anime girls are meant to be realistic.
