To be fair, Touma is one of the most water under the bridge characters in fiction. It's a hell of an attribute honestly, because other characters think this is such a great thing until he stands in front of someone that fucked them over specifically. I hope more characters see how much of a double edged sword Touma is. I was laughing my ass off when Accel was about to bust a blood vessel after Touma got between him and Aleister.

Touma doesn't really know most of what Aleister has done and he's trapped by a combination of Aleister incorrectly but convincingly associating his crimes with Touma's existence and the story whitewashing Aleister (due to magic like Archetype Controller if Kamachi isn't a coward). I also wouldn't say Touma is forgiving, he only is that way when the author wants him to be.
