I'm going to miss it, or at least some of its characters.

I liked her, she and the main bad guy were the only good antagonists.

What happened?
Was the axe announced?

It's clearly rushing everything, there's no way it's not axed.

As if we needed another sign that this has been given the axe notice.

We already passed U19, so its fine

End.

How many chapters do you think we still have left? I bet it's 3, big big bad reveal, ginichiyo returns, and final fight.

poor author can't catch a break

This is just kimetsu pacing, it's not an obvious axe sign.

This shit was so insanely boring, I can't believe shitposters latched onto this and somehow pretended it was like an underrated masterpiece, I'm starting to think it was paid interns or something crazy like that, the way they spoke about the series and how they praised it was so artificial and uninspired

Yeah there's not much left. Kind of a shame, it was a good idea to have the bad guys be smart about fighting the samurai and it's funny how the last boss is the exact opposite of Muzan, Yoshihime the opposite of Nakime, that first humanoid mononoke the opposite of Akaza, this is blatantly inspired by KnY but in a way that could have been entertaining to follow.

relax schizo, it had a strong beginning that went to shit

Apologize.

So they act frivoulous but they're actually looking out for mononoke-kind?

It was nice when it was about mc, Kusanagi and Ginchiyo, clearly nips found it boring which is fair enough but I liked it as a comfy casual read.

At least it's better than golem sharts
Hopefully his third series in 2025 will live

DARK
HADES
BLAST

Looks like the fujobait saved Ayashimon but it couldn't save Doron.

Either it was a bait and switch and the established big bads didn't actually die. Or it's getting axed and they were killed off and the protagonist will kill some last second villain.

It's ending but maybe an open ending would have been better than actually killing all of these guys. It just looks silly if there's been this whole organization trying to fight mononoke and then they kill them all in one day. OK, Kimetsu did the same thing basically but that didn't happen in a few chapters.

It'll be nice if he pulls a Horikoshi, but I'm not counting on it.

it had a promising beginning but in the end it wasn't really enough

I'm guessing 3 chapters before it ends oh well hopefully the author has better luck next time.

I think it'll end next week.
It was somewhat interesting at the beginning, but the second half of the manga was cliche and crammed to the brim with fujobait.
More Ginchiyo wouldn't have hurt honestly.

>More Ginchiyo
More characters wouldn't have hurt, really. The beginning was lacking in supporting characters, which meant that readers were stuck with the main trio and probably got bored with this.

she was the best one though. I'm glad this is axed now. Kudos to the author for breaking things off so thoroughly

has anyone gotten the volume extras yet?

Killing humanoid mononoke doesn't mean all mononoke are dead though. They're treated as natural disasters and samurais will always have a job snuffing them out.

>Ginchiyo leaves
>series immediately goes to shit and gets axed

I wish it would've just been about MC and his mononoke. The first few chapters were comfy, but afterwards the stakes got too high, and after he joined the samurai I mostly lost interest.

Where does it says it's getting axed you fucking retards?

Author needs chuuni lessons, like these are some bland ass technique names

On the next TOC placement in 3 days

>introduced main villain group only a few chapters ago
>half of them died this chapter
>kimetsu pacing
Keep coping bud

>still paralyzed btw

Yup, agreed. It was pretty decent, similar to early bleach. After Dora got into the corps it's just garbage dollar store kimetsu.

Ignore the doomposters, they spam axe at anything.

Realistically, how would the author save this manga at this point (or 2-3 weeks ago)?
Most people would have dropped this manga by then so even if the story is actually good, people still won't suddenly follow it to vote for it in the ranking.

The beginning was kinda good, but the flaws began to show themselves at Ch 3 imo. All that was done was Dora, Kusanagi, and Ginchiyo forming a partnership, and while it was kinda like early Bleach, none of the monsters of the week were particularly engaging or interesting.

killing off Ginchiyo for maximum edge

But to answer your question, no, realistically, the author couldn't save the manga at this point even if he wanted. The first few chapters were not strong enough to keep an audience.

at this point? it's done. should've started in something less cutthroat than wsj and built up that mundane atmosphere

I feel like if Dora and Kusanagi had an actual goal, and they were focused on just doing their own thing while being caught up in Samurai shit on the side, the story may have had a chance, but the author chose to be a pussy and get them to join the Samurai corps

The first half was comfy, but the fights and monsters were too bland to keep it going. Oh well.

Rip, both him and the manga
