I think the implication here is that Rock Mom get powers as a baby and then they forced her to age up. But she only realized she had powers on a random walk to save a puppy? It's a bit confusing.

Anyways, how do you guys feel about Mamoru being aged up 10 years instead of going about it naturally? I was hoping we could have some SoL moments as he gets older and hones his power, but I guess it's being skipped. With Mamoru having more agency as an older boy, will it be more interesting?

I think it's stupid, I never really had the problems with the tech level some other people had of expecting them to be able to retrieve a rock but if they can make people grow 10 years in a fucking month I actually start to agree with that people questioning the tech level

I think the tech consistently has always been questionable but there was room to give it a benefit of a doubt. Not all science develops at the same rate and maybe the introduction of Earthchild in the world meant a more rapid advancement of cerebral related technology over practical spaceships and space debris retrieval. This chapter is literately just "Fuck it who cares".

If there were two things the axebait chapters of WT did right, they were making the MC with the cool powers interesting to watch and letting the MC who's way over his head get constantly shit on for his decisions. We are 8 chapters in and the cast is STILL treating the dad who has barely done anything like the fucking messiah.

What will the next arc be after the mom is saved?
