PPPPPP is the only want doing well. Too early to talk about Akane

Isn't it too early to talk about Earthchild too?

Earthchild shit the bed so bad I doubt it will last

>Combines the power of /y/, /u/, /jp/ and Yea Forums
Watch P6 have like a gun range in the middle of Fanta's arc with well draw guns just to get /k/ in there.

I’m pretty confident in Akane.
Haven’t read PPPPPP yet, but Akane is basically a spoken for Rakugo. And it’s surprisingly good. Jump will give it more leeway with the early metrics already.

I’m unsure about Doron, Ayashimon and Shugomaru now. It looks like the whole batch is slated for death, as Doron has been on the last ranking twice now, and Ayashimon seems to have crawled up from last to third from last. Shugomaru should be axed, but now it got out of the bottom five in latest TOC.

>Ayashimon seems to have crawled up from last to third from last
ayashimon, shugo and doron have been taking turns in the last 3 spots for a while now, with shugo being the only who managed to escape it for a moment

I know. But Ayashimon had a period where it was consistently bottom and bottom two.
Can’t say bottom three is much better….but it’s better than Doron as of now

I dunno about Akane. The first few chapters were good but a spokon usually lives and dies by the side cast and so far the side cast seems quite boring. All the focus is on Akane herself.

More like it's too late to even speculate about Earthchild. It's dead. It's more depressing to think that a 40 year old man with one and a half shitcanned series (Half cause Soul Catchers did the move to Jump+/Saikyo meme) and degrading art is working on this.

I LOVE FURUSU

P6 will be a Unead Unluck-level success
Shugo, Doron, and Ayashimon are soon to die. Ayashimon will get a little bit of love because veteran, akin to Build King getting an epilogue chapter in its last volume.
Earthchild U19
Too early to say for Akane but I hope it lives.

6P, Akane, and Ayashimon

>同じクソ漫画でも新人の若さゆえのエネルギーが迷走暴走したやつは許せる

>I can forgive a newcomer's youthful energy for straying and running amok, even if it's the same shitty cartoon.
>The emptiness of having to deal with Doron and Earth, middle-aged Baijan writers who reek of aging, making shit out of memories...
I don't know what a Baijan is but bless 5ch for being just brutal enough sometimes.

akane because SEX

there's no difference between the last 3 spots, don't kid yourself
the only way for ayashimon to survive is if jump gives him another pity 20 chapters to wrap things up like they did with samurai 8 and cop & dolphin

5ch is cringe.
Reminder its users were pretending Doron was of acceptable quality until it tanked in the ToC and only then they became vocal about its faults.

So same as Yea Forums?

>pretending Doron was of acceptable quality until it tanked in the ToC and only then they became vocal about its faults

Anons were praising Doron and then shitted on it when it tanked.
Anons were shitting on P6 and then it actually lived so now they praise it.

Retards are the same everywhere.

It's only on chapter 7, it can't be dead yet, right? I think introducing the new character last chapter was good for the story, now it won't just be Reisuke monologing 24/7.

Akane is the sole survivor. I know because I'm from the future.

What about the big three? Are they all still there?

Attached: veterans.png (750x251, 401.19K)

>it can't be dead yet, right?
I don't know how you can think it's alive.
> I think introducing the new character last chapter was good for the story, now it won't just be Reisuke monologing 24/7.
You'd think so, but the new character is going to end up just another set piece for the Family Man to show off his parenting skills to, which amounts to using his baby like a pokemon and projecting that everyone else just wants to use his baby as a tool.

I read the first chapter of PPPPPP when it first came out and hated it. And now every week I see threads praising it highly and figures that show it doing well.
Did I get filtered super hard? Does it actually get better after chapter 1?

Attached: 9e2.jpg (572x303, 59.07K)

Yes, once it gets into the drama with the siblings.

From most likely to survive at the top to least likely to survive at the bottom:

PPPPPP
Akane
Ayashimon
Shugomaru
Doron
Earthchild

Ayashimon and shugomaru I could see switching places on my list since I’m not sure what is more important to the head editor of shonen jump, veteran status or gag status. PPPPPP seems safe and will be running for a while now. Akane I can tell will be a sleeper hit and seems to have a nice niche but dedicated following its establishing. Doron is becoming painfully boring with a very unappealing art style and I think a lot of people aren’t hooked on it besides the fact it’s better paced than ayashimon but doesn’t have the veteran status it can fall back on and also is a battle shonen which increases its likeliness of being axed due to very abundant and strong competition. Earthchild is an abomination of jump and should be axed right now where even Reddit is now shitting on the series.

Would put money on Pee and Akane

Also to add to the ayashimon vs shugomaru survivability, overall I think that since ayashimons author has an anime in the making for his other successful series, I give ayashimon slightly more of a chance to survive vs shugomaru. Overall I think the bottom three of my list will be axed eventually with akane and PPPPPP surviving.

Pee gets an anime by Shaft or Bones

Akane gets an anime by Cloverworks

No fucking way
>Earthchild
>Doron Doron.
>Ayashimom

Should unless the author gets a bike
>PPPPPP

Dunno about the rest.

Who's the young newbie?

Earthchild and Doron are already dead, it's just a countdown at this point. They're literally wrapping up their stories already.

Shugomaru has no future and won't last either. Ayashimon I could see surviving till the end of the year despite its rankings just because of the status of the author and his upcoming anime adaption, but even if it survives two axe cycles I can't imagine it'll live into 2023.

Akane has been pretty solid and the art is nice. The subject matter of the manga means it'll never be a mainstream hit but with so many disasters currently in the magazine it'll hang around for a while and find its audience. PPPPPP isn't going anywhere because it's actually quite popular for reasons I don't understand.

Right now I'd say only P6 is likely to live, since it has both the rankings recovery and possibly sales growth depending on V2 (and its V1 baseline isn't too bad, so based on that it could get 1-2 years like Magu). Akane seems to have been received well, but I'd still wait for some more rankings and maybe even V1 sales before being sure. The three-series round all seem like dead men walking. Doron, based on rankings, sales, and pacing in the series is likely done. Shugo has been weird since it popped out of the bottom 3 rotation like twice. Could be coincidence or has favor as a magazine gag like HSF, but it still doesn't look good. Ayashimon doesn't feel rushed and had decent sales (apparently ~20k rough estimate for V1), but its still doing poorly in rankings and might just get more time to wrap up smoothly like Dolphin Cop. Earthchild is a steaming pile of shit in reception, but like Akane we don't have rankings yet for stronger confirmation of its shittyness.
But I'd agree with other anons that P6 and Akane are the best looking of the bunch. Funny that both are performing arts series, if they're the only survivors of their batches they should have an alliance.

Just need another competitive conventional art related manga to debut and do well and you got yourself a artsy tri-alliance. If act age was around you could loop that in with those but not sure what else they could introduce as a series, maybe a literal art/painting competitive manga.

Who's the editor for each of these?

Newcomer was used in a general sense but Yuki Suenaga and Mapolo 3-gou seem newer and fresher going by how little work they've done. Of course Mangaka can be notoriously and righteously private so it's just a guess that they're young.

Ayashimon is the kino and I'm tired of pretending it's not.

The only ones I know of are earthchild which is taguchi (no surprise there) and doron has the jiu jitsu and I think a bunch of other hit series editor who also I believe edited golem hearts so it’s more on the mangaka on that one. Not sure do the rest but interested to know who is editing the other series.

PPPPPP - Takano
Shugomaru - Naito
Ayashimon - Sakakibara (Allegedly)
Doron Dororon - Katayama
Akane - Murakoshi
Earthchild - Shinigami Taguchi

Why didn't the japs liked Doron?

What have they done?

A lot of anons agree that it gets better after the first chapters. As it moves into the Reijiro arc, the story becomes more focused, the character dynamics get more fleshed out and interesting, and the visual storytelling gets better. I won't say you should force yourself to read past Ch. 15-20, but it definitely feels like it just kept getting better as time went on.

P6 is surviving. At least until next year.

Shugomaru is practically DOA. Not to be a salesfag but it was like 150th on its first day ranking and after that fell to the 300s. Not to mention bottom 3 ranking consistently ever since it first started ranking.

Ayashimon could survive, it's pretty up in the air.

Doron also could survive, although it's looking a bit less likely.

Too early to talk about Akane, but it seems good enough to not only survive=, but possibly even thrive.

Also "too early" to talk about Earthchild, but it pretty obviously blew its load in the first chapter. Highly unlikely that it survives.

I don't know about the others but Katayama launched BC, JJK and Kimetsu, as well as Summertime Rendering.

Taguchi worked on Samurai 8, Red Hood and Higuma.

Ayachads will win.

wasn't katayama the one who helped gotouge write an outline for the entire series before leaving for JJK?
he was also JJK's second editor, who was also responsible for JJK's best arcs since gege hated working with his first editor since he couldn't do what he wanted

Attached: FBJnc19WUB0vkUG.jpg (1242x1828, 205.95K)

The list I have implies Katayama launched JJK. I don't see a Yamanaka in it either so I'm a bit baffled.

- PPPPPP: I don't read it but it seems to be hitting a good stride and decent sales.
- Shugomaru: honestly, I expected it to be dead by now. I guess gag mangas have it easier on Jump, but if one of the gag gang has to go to the chopping block, it'll be this.
- Ayashimon and Dororon: One of these two will die so the other one can live, and Ayashimon's author is more popular, so...
-Akanebanashi: I'm really liking this, but I don't know how these kind of mangas (without battle/sport/gag/romcom) perform in Jump so I don't want to put my hopes up.
- Earthchild: this manga is in a very bad position right now. It just can't stand up with only the dad, but fast forwarding until the kid can at least talk or do hero stuff would probably make more readers believe that it's getting axed and lose even more support

Okay Yamanaka was an editor for the Zero series that ran in Giga but also Katayama helped out at some point. I guess I'm more curious than confused about what Yamanaka is doing now.

maybe he helped launch it but yamanaka was the editor for the first few volumes?
either way, both appear in the volume extras, and there are interviews about katayama talking about working on JJK and gege talks shit about yamanaka constantly

Pppppp and Akane

P6 looks to have established itself as a middle-ranker, and sales aren't too bad, so I think it'll stay.

Ayashimon, Shugomaru, and Doron have already hit dead last at least twice. They're not going to live long-term at least. In terms of the order they'll go out, I can see Doron going first, with Shugomaru and Ayashimon following afterwards.

Earthchild is pretty much dead imo. Lack of clear focus and slow pacing are typical bad signs, and this manga is far worse than usual axebait.

Akane's chances are up in the air. The first two rankings (or just the first, depending on how one begins to do rankings) aren't too bad, but nowadays, new manga tend to rank not too badly at first before sinking like a stone. I could see it living, but I'd rather wait until we come back from the Golden Week break to take the rankings seriously.

MHA is supposedly in its last arc so one more year tops.
BC has just beaten the biggest baddest guy, but Fairy Tail taught us that you can always asspull more stuff beyond that.
Dunno about Jujutsu, bt with a S2 coming it won't end soon

Yea Forums is literally always wrong about which one survives

>Should unless the author gets a bike
user please stop, I'm trying to forget about that!

At least there's P6/Akane as the sort-of spiritual successors to Act-Age.

Hate you user, I still miss that damn dork

I DON'T give a FUCK about ayAXE-SHITmon.

Do you love Doron that much?

Lucky and his siblings for Jump Force 2!

i like ayashimon.
