I watch at 1x speed, but if it something I don't really care watching, I autoplay my gatcha game at the same time. That way I can waste my time at double the rate.

Here's a radical idea: You can just not watch stuff you don't enjoy and then lie to everyone about it instead of weirdly trying to justify it by not really watching it (since it wasn't intended to be seen at a different speed)

I watched Ex-Arm and Tesla Note at 1.25x speed because it kinda made it look like it was running at a decent framerate. Of course, I did kinda care about those shows. I enjoyed em at 60 fps, lol.

Better if you have multiple monitors to watch the same episode slightly desynced, too.

This but for the second watch right after I put it on pause and go through it frame by frame on one monitor while I have the episode script on the other.

I liked Gundam 00 s1, but from the beggining of s2 I was already turned off by the shit they were pulling off, watched the last chapters at x2 speed and barely paid attention. The only reason I even know a little of what happened in there was thank to SRWZ2.2.

I sped watched rezero at 2x speed because I hated it. But I wanted to be hip with the normies.

I mostly watch shit on 9anime these days so I just keep it default. used to use vlc and then I'd crank it up a little.

I watched Citrus at 8x speed for fun. No I hadn't seen it before. Yes it's trash and I won't rewatch it.
But besides that I haven't watched a series at anything besides 1x speed. The speed multiplier is a tool for the viewer to extract information from an informational video at a higher rate; it shouldn't really be used on art.
