Someone found his previously unknown Youtube channel a while back where he uploaded a bunch of videos and Youtube deleted it.

what does "stack thread" mean? to post a few books that I like?

Post a stack of books. Generally recent pick ups, what you are reading, things you want to show off for (you)s...

...Adam Lanza was the world's best DDR dancer...

I refuse to say what books I am currently reading and absolutely WILL NOT post a photo of said books, but I will tell you this, I do have 4 books on my desk as of this very moment.

I doubt Borges would be against it, but he would probably prefer the one he had a hand in
Great book btw

>borges
I hope he’s not just a meme

recent pu from a used bookstore

i've had this shit on my desk for close to a year untouched. bought Meditations after my dad died last year and as you can see from the bookmark, i've made it halfway through the introduction.

That's some very difficult literature so don't beat yourself up too much.

Can you post a pic of the content table of Borges collected works? Really want to see whats in the collection

Shame you got memed into reading Cormac McCareddity

Based Fante enjoyer, though I hope you found this used at a book store, cause otherwise they got a collection of the four books in the "series" for pretty cheap online

>Meditations
>difficult

The Setting Sun was nice, Fante is always good. That's a bad translation of Borges though.

what i went through, the first 10th or so, was enjoyable. though i do contend the
>he
>he
>they
>he
>they
>he
>he
>he
is definitely very annoying to keep track of.

PIcked em up yesterday.

this looks like a meme

sorry about your loss, user

He's not, he's great

it happens. he was a lifelong alcoholic that didn't want to help himself despite all of his family wanting to get him better.
he was rushed to the hospital one night, and my uncle decided to pull the plug because he made no effort to get better. he drank up until his last week.

>reading Kant's CPR without reading about the Rationalist-Empiricist dispute that came before him
Oh shiet nigga what are you doin?

You forgot to buy this classic:
>Follando El Coño de tu Hermana - Yo

Acquired recently from a local thrift store.
Excuse the mess it's finals week.

Kek

Two stacks on top of each other because I still haven't put the last one away yet. The LC/DLP one is Freedom at Midnight and the Wyndham one is The Kraken Wakes. The Song of Wirrun fucking sucked but I enjoyed Trotsky's autobiography more than I expected so overall well balanced stack I reckon.

Stop phoneposting.

Good selection.

Unironically excellent, read Ovid before Milton.

Got all of these at the thrift store last week.
I'm almost done with My Antonia, a beautiful book with wonderful characters and a great love for the land of the prairie. I'm going to give it to my mom because she grew up on a farm in Nebraska and has a love for her home state.

>buying steal this book

This is my first McCarthy, and although it's going well I should've started with The Road like what McCarthyanon said. The rest are all purchases of this month.

Copleston is great

I'm halfway through Metamorphosis, good stuff. Different translation though

Really like the hardcover Ulysses

Where/how did you find that edition of Copleston?

In a used bookstore in the Netherlands. Paid €125,- for all 3 volumes.

Forgot to include an Everyman's Library edition of Oscar and Lucina and True History of the Kelly Gang by Peter Carey

Maybe books aren't for you; they're not for everyone.

Buddenbrooks and Winesburg Ohio are amazing. I hope you enjoy. They are two of my favorites
